You dont need to rinse it if you are just putting the same flavour in, just top it up and wash maybe once a week.

One thing you may find with certain juices is the wicks can take the best of the juice and leave you a dark sludge, this is not always a big problem, but I found if I use something like Grizwalds toffee popcorn you can get a really yucky tasting bit left which needs washing out each and every time, its also a reason to have more than one as some stronger flavours can be hard to wash away....say a strong coffee for instance, then it might be best to keep that one for that flavour

Just to let you all know That I am loving my new Riva.... still spending a fortune on e juice , there are so many to try and every site I look on there's something there that I just have to try! I really must stop. I don't really want any from China, I prefer to stick to American ones. I'm probably being a bit paranoid but think USA ones will probably be better regulated. Am I being paranoid? If anyone knows a good USA vanilla would be great to hear from you. I'm actually beginning to feel like a proper vaper now and not so much of a newbie, thanks to all of you who contribute to this site.

So pleased you're enjoying your Riva IMO there is nothing wrong with chinese e-juice especially Hangsten and Dekang! I do however have a bit of a weakness for some American juices I love the Vermillion River range. I'm not keen on vanilla myself but many have liked VR's vanilla www.uk-eliquid.co.uk/collections/vermillion-river-10mltry code 'river' for 15% off, may still be valid

Im quite partial to the Hangsen and Dekang premades, as long as you are getting them from a trusted supplier you`ll be fine. The vermillion river range has raving reviews for their products (the cinnamon red hots one is really nice but numbs my mouth )

One more question for the experts. I was using a sky cig and jacvapour. I know the sky cig cartomizers fit my new Riva but does anyone know if there is an adapter I can buy to make my jacvapour cartomizers fit? I believe it is a kr808D ( I think ) I have so many carts it seems a shame to waste them

Check out www.cloud9vaping.co.uk/AD-510-808but you will have to do it tomorrow as they seem to be closed for now I checked it in google and this is the bit of blurb that was with it "AD-510-808 ... 510 e-cig battery to 901/KR808-D Adapter - Stealth. Gold coloured metal adapter to enable the use of KR808-D cartomisers on standard DSE or ... "

Thank google lol, oddly enought I ordered an adapter to make 510 things fit my DSE901 today too. I thought a lookalike size could come in handy sometimes, though not with a vision on top lol.

Funny that, I got one too lol. I got some 510 carts to use on it and they work really well. It seems to let quite a lot of air in so makes a bit more noise, but the results are good. A lot better than refilling the greensmoke ones anyway

It might be worth telling her about the adaptor too as I found the cartridge option quite poor obviously compared to the cartomizers. I can see it being off putting. She only has to spend around a tenner for 5 boges and the adaptor......and then of course the limitless amount of juice she will end up buying lol. I do feel a little more conscious using the black battery in public though. The crackling of the cartz has also drawn more attention that I'd like, but the result is worth it

Sorry another question Loving my Riva and tried the clearmizer thing on it which I really like, much better than using a cartomizer. Not sure if there is a knack to it or something else I'm not doing right. I can only store it in a vertical position. If I lay it down it all drips out, is that normal? I would like to be able to pop it in my pocket to take out but obviously can't like that. Perhaps it's a rogue one so I would like to buy some more. Bit confused about the ohms? What do I buy to go with my Riva. Also is the drip tip to put on to refill it? At the moment I fill it like a glass of beer as instructed by you experts, which works great. Thanks

Did you screw the top onto the clearomiser? ohms - anything over 2 should be fine on the Riva When you fill the cartomiser you take out the little white bung. Instead of putting it back in use the drip tip. Feels much nicer in your mouth and easier to remove for top ups
