Hi all I thought you might be interested in the recent launch of a new brand of e-cigs designed specially for the UK. Our brand is called Matchless and we are initially focusing on 2 types of disposable, both available in familiar flip-topped style packs. Matchless Red 20+ is a high strength disposable (24mg) and Matchless Blue 20+ is a medium strength disposable (18mg) Matchless rechargeables are set to follow. Our products are UK lab certified We are actively creating a number of retail stockists as well as offering direct sales from our new website at www.matchlessecig.co.ukWe'd love to get your feedback on our branding, packaging and website cheers Julian

Hello & welcome Julian :-) I think Matchless is brilliant name I also like the look of the packaging & logo. Plus your website is easy on the eye & user friendly, only had a quick luck round so far though. I've never tried a disposable, but that looks like a good price for them - ie inline with other sellers prices of disposables. On the other hand, I think your rechargeable kit is a tad on the expensive side. Hard from the pics to tell what model it is but I'm guessing a super-mini of some sort?

Will have a deeper look later but at the moment my better half is calling me for my tea. Regards' Ken.

Hi there and welcome, Matchless. In addition to what others have said, I congratulate you on some of your FAQs - however I see that "Are the rechargeable model's cartridges refillable?" is a missing queston... possibly because you don't sell e-liquids? If the rechargeable kit came with a bottle of juice as well as all those carts it would make a recommendable starter kit for newbies, IMO scylla

Nice website - well laid out and easy to use.
Being a bit of a cynic - I am a bit dubious about your claim that the carts on your rechargeable model last for the equivalent of 12-15 cigarettes.
From previous experience - this sort of claim, if the reality is different - will lead to disappointment, and possibly lots of returns.

Hi all Thanks for the feedback which is very useful. Glad most of you like the branding and website. Our strategy is to help grow the whole e-cig category by marketing our disposables at mainstrem smokers, as they come in familiar cigarette type packets and with familar tobacco style colour associations (Red = High, Blue = medium) We believe the disposables should be a great gateway product as they will encourage smokers to try the e-cig category due to the combination of low entry price (£6.75) plus familiar look of the pack and the e-cig itself, simplicity of use and effectiveness of our marketing materials for retailers. In other words we are aiming this at a smoking mass market rather than the enthusiast. Regulatory threats aside if we are successful in establishing Matchless as a brand it can only help with awarenees and acceptance of the whole e-cig category. cheers Julian www.matchlessecig.co.uk

I think that is a good strategy Julian. As you say, £6.75 is a very low entry price.

My experience of disposables isn't a good one I'm afraid. I also think that they ain't very enviromentally friendly. There's enough rubbish tipping into landfills without a boat load of disposable e-cigs.

Still, Hissie, if smokers would buy one where they wouldn't go for a "proper" one in a kit... hopefully they'll mostly be into to the real McCoy It's already been said - but Matchless really is a good name scylla

Yes, Matchless is a very clever name, really like that one. And the packaging and site is top class.
I think it's good. A cheap introduction to E-cigs. I'm sure there's be loads who like them. But I'm also equally sure they'd find their way to a better and more sustainable E-cig eventually.
