-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now selling two FANTASTIC new products. The EGO E-cigarette and the LEO Super E-cigarette. Both have very long lasting batteries. LEO has an 800mah battery & large capacity cartridges. It produces lots and lots of vapour with good flavour and a good throat hit. EGO has a 650mah battery & uses a 510 atomiser and cartridge. It produces plenty of vapour with good flavour and a good throat hit. Each of these products have lasted myself for over a week each on one charge. I consider myself to be a moderate user as before I stopped smoking analogues I smoked 10 Silk Cut per day. UPDATED 12/01/11: If you are a heavy smoker/vaper then I believe you can expect your battery to last a considerably shorter time than mine did. However this would still last significantly longer than any of our other e-cig batteries.Still selling e-cig kits, e-liquid, and accessories at fantastic prices. Even better deals for our website members. Check us out. We sell great quality E-cigarettes, E-liquid, spares, & accessories. You don't need vouchers or codes 'cos our prices are already low. Always fast delivery. www.vapekandy.com

Hello & welcome to the forum from me Karl - thank you for posting those links . . . . If I might say, it's a shame the Leo only has one battery and one atomiser . . . what do people do when the one battery is on charge? Similarly, only one atomiser when they're known to be the weakest part of an ecig. I'd also have to question your claim of one battery charge a week . . . at 10 cigarettes a day you were a light smoker . . . many of us here and those considering making the switch to vaping smoked 40 - 60 cigs a day, so would be looking at a daily charge. Apologies to sound sceptical, I'm not having a pop at your products at all - they look great, but it is important for anybody new to vaping reading this, to be fully informed.

I agree with Perpy about the kit contents and over-estimates of battery life, but it's nice to see that one of our members has already had good service from VapeKandy scylla

Yes the LEO kit only comes with one battery and one atomiser. This is how the package is sold. Spare batteries and atomisers are available on our website. The "claim" that I make about the battery that comes with this product is the total truth based on my vaping habits of which I have been totally clear. Before I decide to sell products on my website I do actually test them first to determine whether or not I would feel confident selling them. As for your comment on smokers of 40 to 60 a day requiring a daily charge I would say that was highly unlikely. It is VERY important to me to be honest and give the best customer experience that I can. Unlike many other suppliers of these products I do not make false claims. This is why I feel the need for this response.
The following statement is from my website and I stand by it:
"We will not attempt to impress you with the false claims that many other E-cigarette suppliers do. Our claims and descriptions are based on our own experience as users of the products that we sell. We believe in them, and we love 'em."
I have worked very hard for my business, and am very proud of it. I also have many loyal customers that appreciate my honest hard work in giving them a great customer experience.

I mean no offence Karl, I'm sorry if you've taken it that way, I don't doubt for a moment you've many satisfied customers . . . one of our members here sang your praises to the hilt.
However, going by my own experience as an ex heavy smoker and now a pretty heavy vaper, using mods that take a 18650 battery, they don't last a week - just over a day if I'm lucky, so I can't see how either of these batteries in your kits would last a heavy vaper a week.

Karl, if i was you, i'd stick to the 8hr estimate from the one charge and delete the 8+ days......
sorry, but if i used an 800mah battery for 10 mins a day, it might last for 1 week+, but otherwise, thats just total nonsense....

Sorry Karl, I also have to completely agree - there is no way that either a 650 or even an 800 mAh battery will last a week between charges. OK, I was a heavy smoker but even my 2,500 mAh battery only lasts me just over a day between charges.

Hi Karl, Just wondering if you would like to send me one of the kits so I could test the battery life :-)

Thanks for the comments, but I think somebody has misunderstood my statement. I have based my real findings on my own vaping habit and ex smoking habit of 10 silk cut per day. I used (every day) only the product on test. Thanks again for the comments, but I'll stick to what I know, and do what I think is best.

Indeed Karl, it is your business and your absolute prerogative to do just that . . . as indeed it is our prerogative to express on our forum, our views based on our own not inconsiderable vaping experience.

I also used to smoke Silk Cut, around 10-12 a day.
If you think about it, the Ego batts would probably last a week based on this usage.
1 tab = 5 minutes. 10 tabs = 50 minutes 50 minutes x 7 = 350 minutes 350 minutes = just under 6 hours.
However, E-cigarettes and smoking silk Cut are 2 completely different things. Just about everyone I know vapes far more than they used to smoke. Probably something to do with the absorption rate of the nicotine, much slower with E-cigs, so more usage required.
The claims made may be true to some extent, but it's still highly misleading. Hands up anyone who can make an Ego/tornado last a week? Make it last a day? I can't even do that - I use 1 Tornado, and half a charge of my other.
If I were to make claims on a website, I can't see anything wrong with just saying 1 battery would get most people through a day, with 1 in reserve just in case. This is more to the truth, even though you're not technically lying.
Why leave yourself wide open to complaints?

Bucko, you are totally rite mate.Ive never heard so much nonsense regarding the Ego battery.I also use the Ego/Tornado very regular and always have a battery in reserve. On average for me personally being a heavy user a standard Ego battery will be lucky to last 3 hours and a mega maybe 4. I feel that claims like that should NEVER be made as it is EXTREMELY untrue and misleading to new vapers.

OK. Here we go............ If I post on a forum that I now have LEO e-cigarettes available on my website and somebody asks "how long does the battery last?" I can tell the truth and say "based on my own usage (bearing in mind that before I stopped smoking I smoked 10 Silk Cut per day), my battery lasted 7 days on its first charge, and 9 days on its second charge. For these 16 days this was the only e-cig used (apart from the 2 1/2 hrs whilst the battery was charging".
Or I could just take a guess and lie.
Before reading some of your reactions if somebody said to me that a LEO battery would only last them 6 to 8 hours I would think that that was nonsense. Because I don't know anyone who vapes that much. And I really do find it hard to imagine that anyone could drain a battery of this capacity in such a short time period. However, after reading these posts I have learned something - that other people's vaping habits can be far, far different from my own - of which I considered to be pretty normal (but now doesn't seem to be).
Anyway I have edited my original post slightly, but left the FACTS from my own findings. I honestly did not, and do not intend to mislead.
