Lilac, keep an eye on Tor   On Animal Madhouse the other night they featured a tortoise who lived with a family of cats and kittens - he spent nearly all his time running after the kitties and biting their legs, or any part of them he could get hold of The only cure was to imprison him in a sort of rabbit run (quite small) in the garden  He was only 2-3 years old. scylla |

I saw that, Scylla, but they reckoned he'd had a bad experience in a previous home with cats...
When i went to look at Ragdoll kittens a few years ago, the breeder also had a baby tortoise that went across the carpet like a rocket to bite whichever part of her cats he could reach....was sooo funny..
i dunno where they get the 2 - 3 years old from tho....my Tor is upwards of 90 years old and it didnt look that much smaller than him...
the breeders tort, that was 2 years old, was less than 6", i took a wee vid with my phone at the time.....wonder if i still have it somewhere...
