I expect I've got too many trailing electrical cables to have rats But yours are lovely, Beeratz, thank you for the pics. Love your cat-pics, Global, thanks so much. I was trying to introduce the idea of a Bengal or two to my SO, he keeps threatening to get some cats. He used to keep tropical (I think) fish and was quite an expert, if he'd take that up too the cats would be well entertained while he was at work

The bedding I used with the gerbils was called Megazorb. It came in a massive bag & cost about £18 inc postage. Lasted ages.
I also bought the shredded paper bedding for them to nest in. I used to fill the tank bit quite full as they loved digging in it. They also loved the cardboard rolls from toilet rolls & kitchen paper.
They were all called Sergei because I couldn't tell the difference lol.
Aww I miss them .

I rekon the dogs would be more frightened of the rats. Haha I wouldn't be surprised actually, my rats are mahoosive!!! I weighed them last week and Orion who's the biggest weighed in at almost a kilo!!! The smallest is about 600 grams. They are big boys but not particularly fat, just large rats.

I rekon the dogs would be more frightened of the rats. My dog is scared of the cat, but I wouldn't trust him near rats. It was all a bit of a palaver when we used to have a hamster! I had a beloved simese fighter fish that disappeared, I questioned both cat and dog but I'm still waiting for one of them to own up to eating it!

Poor fish! They have a hard time from everyone. I see that someone's celebrating the fishing season starting. It's terribly conflicting being a carnivore ???
