but yes I was thinking about Jaki. I can't knit/crochet & would really like a wide headband thingy. I don't like hats, but I would probably be able to wear a headband over my ears.

I woke up during the night to discover that I was no longer at death's door Now it's just an ordinary cold.

It's not funny, Lilac, I do hope you're a big strong girl - my brother (whom I caught the cold from) went to the doc's this morning and got sent to hosp for xrays cos they think he's got pneumonia

That would explain why I felt so ill but got over it - I had a pneumonia jab a few years ago, Bro did not, even though he's had a heart attack and gets terrible bronchitis every time he gets a cold.

Normally I get a cold about once a year, if that, but this time it's (relatively) hot on the heels of the last one so I suspect it's a particularly nasty virus.

Feeling a bit better now, but my nose kept bleeding last night without warning, i dripped on a few nice white sheets

Having to chip my jeep out of a block of ice this morning before i could go home didn't help one bit....am now off to my nice cosy bed...nitey nite

Thanks for asking, Lilac - he says he's feeling a lot better this morning. He started 2 new antibiotics yesterday but surely it can't be them taking effect so quickly ??? He'd already been on some others so maybe it's those.

It's the eldest 14th birthday today, she has just gone out to the cinema with her mates and is then going shopping..She is due back about 6..so a few hours peace n quiet, then I am dreading it she is having a sleepover so that is 5 teenage girls in the house...HELP lol
