Found it - was taken in 2006 at Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, where I had some miniature paintings on show - puffs out chest!! Emma was about 25 yrs old then. She is still my pride and joy  MM (think I was 65!!) |

I have just walked into my kitchen without putting on the lights. There is the most glorious sunset over the buildings opposite. It took my breath away. I know I have seen it, photographed it, painted it so many times - but it is amazing. I guess we have had such dull, grey days for weeks now, it caught me unawares.  MM |

Paint it, photograph it, but it just isn't as spectacular as seeing the real thing. We have beautiful sunsets here in the summer months, especially after a hot humid day.
