You can definitely still get empty round brown carts from Amy at HealthCabin.net.
I prefer the flat ones myself for clamping between the teeth as Scylla does, but some people definitely seem to like round mouthpieces better.

So glad we haven't offended, Marian. Knockout image, anyway and it has occurred to me that you must have done something awfully clever to get it to display here. I must confess I seem to have missed out completely on the maternal instinct myself. I have endless patience with kittens/puppies etc but sometimes upset people when I say I can't see the attraction of having something it takes several years to housetrain! That doesn't mean I can't be pleased for those who do take joy from such, and I do hope this will be the case for your niece.

I believe there's an art to reading those - sadly, I do not seem to possess it but greatly admire those who do.
Never mind which bit is the nose, I've been shown images like that by proud parents-to-be who confidently state "It's a boy - look!" and I'm still not even entirely certain it is a human...
In any event, I hope your niece is happy Marian and all goes well for her.

I'm inclined to the view that just as I believe we would welcome anyone as a member, we should not reduce that welcome for any who choose not to register.
I lurked for quite some time at ECF reading and researching before registering in order to be able to post, and that was the first forum which I ever joined. It isn't too much of a stretch to imagine others doing the same simply to get a 'feel' for the place before joining.
Also, despite the membership at the eBay group going over 600 now, I do recall occasional posts from some of the less gabby members there which said they simply enjoyed reading without feeling inclined to post themselves. A check of the 'members list' there often shows people have called in but not posted and of course others who join but never post at all.
So overall, I'd be in favour of leaving the welcome mat out and hope our visitors will join in when they choose - otherwise they would be denied the chance to see for themselves that we don't ever tell people their questions are foolish or criticise their spelling if it isn't perfect etc.
...as for Isaac, I am confidently predicting his popularity will continue to increase...

I reckon Jason's prices tend to reflect that we have been paying for his branding, promotional materials, snazzy website etc for quite some time now. Unfortunately somewhere along the line either he took his eye off the ball or the Chinese supplier did, with the result that having established a reputation for a premium product which was selling well, the quality of that product is now in question.
I do think it is worth pointing out that other suppliers such as Intellicig and Simon at e-cigs.co.uk have also been branded and CHIP compliant for longer than TW but without the hefty premium on their products. Consumers DO notice these things and aren't always going to be automatically happy about paying for a name unless they really feel the value is there.
Confidence and loyalty can only be earned, not bought.

Very pleased to see some of our new members beginning to get the hang of it, as everyone's said - we were ALL newbies not so long ago so please don't ever feel inhibited about asking questions.
Keeping your sense of humour when it dawns on you that you did an 'oops' and then being generous enough to share the giggle with others is a sign of strength of character IMHO, and definitely one of the lovely things about this place.

Chrissie, thanks so much for alerting us to this debate reopening! This has to be one of the best ECF threads I've seen for ages, and well worth reading the whole lot if you can stand it.
I was fairly astonished that hardly anyone else seemed too bothered about this at the time when we first noticed it. And the presence of two chemists who have carried out a number of tests themselves is a huge step forward. It's also a relief to see that this has now been raised in the TW forum without the posters being attacked for daring to suggest anything about TW might be less than perfect.
If Jason genuinely gets on the case about this (as it sounds as if he is) then hopefully it will get properly sorted out. I do NOT envy his Chinese supplier right now!

Arvo all! (I like arvo, nice word.)
Delighted to hear that Tim is giving the e-cig another try and hope that he will be pleased with his new purchase. Even if it is another DSE901 (or RN4075), they do vary - some have a much lighter draw than others which seems to be down to individual atomiser variations. And they change over time, too.
If this one does not suit, I'd wonder if he might get on with a supermini RN4081 or perhaps an Intellicig EVO? Both have their fans and they are shorter than 901s. They are more awkward to refill with juice but if Tim is using carts and can find a flavour he likes this might not matter.

I must admit to quietly chuckling at how many of the eBay group who must have been quietly lurking popped up after Chrissie's emergency call to arms! I do hope they will be happy to join in here, it was good to hear from them either way. Dunno about bacon sarnies, when ECF kept falling over last December, Trog set up an 'ECF Refugees' section on his forum where we proceeded to light a (virtual) bonfire (none of us had a lighter handy anymore, of course!) then brewed up some virtual tea on it, worked out how many sugars we each wanted and then...we had [glow=red,2,300]choccie biccies[/glow]Oooh, isn't it fun having colours to play with - thanks so much for the Proboard tips, Migsie!
