Obviously, as a frequent visitor to my place near Torrevieja, there is always a chance that I may not have brought enough juice or buggered a clearomiser and the chance of a First Aid post along the N332 is comforting, but not always accessible when we have no car.

My smoking life from 14 to 52must have cost me untold amounts in money and health but I persisted. After trying nasal, patch and drug NR treatments, I always failed to succeed. Told myself I was one of the lucky ones who would avoid the cough, the breathlessness etc and even had the audacity to smoke at the starting line of marathons that I ran in 4 hours. Very much believe I was a lucky one with no side effects of smoking, but when seeing an ECig being vaped by a pal, who was similarly on 50 a day, got my curiosity going.

Now, without floundering, I am a non smoker. Like Saul on the road to Damascus, I have seen the light and although the initial setting up may be a few quid more than the baccy, the follow up outlay is for juice and the odd cartomiser etc which just gose to enlarge the arsenal of weapons in this war against the analogues.

I am more than satisfied with vaping and have no known current intentions of leaving this wonderful healthy path I am taking.

Would be handy to find what celebs use them currently. May need to run a trend on Twitter to find out. Lets start on Stephen Fry.

Just consider ourselves as pioneers, taking away our cash from the multi million empires and handing it to small retailers.
