So postie bought me some packages today. Package number one contained this wooden box. What's in the box? Well a fetching blue leather bag what else? Woohoo this is great like a little solo game of pass the parcel what's inside the bag? My shiny new stab wood DNA75C that's bleedin what! Gorgeous innit? This little monster was given the moniker of Capo by the craftsman who made it on account of how a capacitor exploded on his mill when machining it. This was made by a chap named Stu who uses the name Vapesmarter online. If you're looking for a custom build then you should talk to this guy this is exactly to the specs i asked for including down to the wood colours. None of this nonsense of these are the blocks i have pick one, nope he will make a stab wood block in the colours you pick then send you some pics when the block is made to make sure you're happy with it before machining the block and other parts, i asked for blues and greens and that's what i got. Seriously if you want a mod built to your taste give the guy a shout his prices are super reasonable too, don't go expecting like Eleaf iStick prices for something like this but also we're not talking silly expensive £300 prices either. But wait, you said packages plural what else? Well my dual coil version Themis RTA turned up today too, so off now to chuck a build in this and give both of these babies a good running in. And i need to hunt a more suitable blue drip tip now. Forgot to include his website. www.vapesmarter.org/You can find links on there to his twitter/instagram/email etc. I've just had a look on his page, and he's got quality goods, even the cabinets for keeping your vaping goods in are 💯 quality

I've had a tfv8 and the tfv8 big baby beast tanks for about a year now I think, and never had any leaking issues at all, I'm using the baby beast now at 65w and got decent flavour and decent amount of vapour.

mikemichelle Just for starters and to bump your thread can I suggest that 22m is the smallest atty that is going to give you a relatively easy build deck? At that size and single coil one of the doggy style RTAs might be a suggestion. Never used one myself. At 24mm the Vandy Vape Berserker perhaps? Again I have no experience of these tanks but others on here may have and may have better suggestions. Ive got a doggy and though not my choice for best RTA it is dirt cheap, very easy to build/wick, easy fill up able and is a really nice vape. Definitely a contender. FT_DOGGYIf you want a similar RTA to the doggy but a larger capacity and even easier to fill the digiflavour siren Not tried the V2 but the V1 is very good. DIGIFLAVOR_SIRENEDIT: the DF siren might be a bit big for an istick. Doggy looks proper dandy on it tho, Bit of overhang, but if your not bothered, go ahead

Would the 0.17 build be ok on my Voopoo drag with 2 Samsung 30q's, Yeah it would be absolutely fine on a regulated device. As far as on a mech goes it's not entirely black and white. Batteries basically have two different discharge ratings, continuous and pulse. Continuous rating is the rating the battery can safely discharge at if it is discharging continuously, when you are discharging a battery a chemical reaction is taking place inside the cell, that reaction creates electrical power and it also creates heat, too much can cause a failure a thermal runaway and it will vent, the continuous rating on the 30Q is 15A. The pulse rating is the safe rating the battery can be discharged at in pulses meaning firing.stopping, firing again, because there are periods where the battery isn't being discharged it has time to cool down a little and the chemical reaction is stopping so you can discharge at higher Amp levels without a catastrophic failure. The problem is there's no universal standard of what a pulse is each manufacturer seems to have different criteria for what a pulse is, that and pushing the battery like that will reduce the charge capacity of the battery and probably reduce the batteries life cycle too. It's really a matter of levels of risk. 1:If you stay within the continuous rating the risk of venting is low, you can't eliminate the risk entirely because you can't eliminate the possibility of a manufacturing fault with the battery. 2:If you stay within the pulse rating the risk increases. 3:If you go over the pulse rating then failure is pretty much guaranteed. At 0.17ohm the 30Q probably won't vent unless you are vaping non stop like a train but you are in number 2 territory. I like vaping but personally i try and stay in number 1 territory if possible and keep it as safe as humanly possible. Thanks a lot for that, helpful knowledge there, I'll keep it for future reference. Thanks mate

Yeah you could use it but as always it depends on the resistance of your build being within safe limits. Keep your build above 0.25ohm otherwise you are straying out of safe continuous discharge territory and into pulse discharge territory where you are risking a possible failure and venting. It is safe to use at above 0.25ohm but the voltage sag i hear is pretty bad with that particular battery, it's more suitable for a regulated device for that reason. The build I've got in at the moment is a 0.17 ohm, so should I ditch that and do a 0.25. Would the 0.17 build be ok on my Voopoo drag with 2 Samsung 30q's,

stephengeo There are certain Chinese online shops where, through experience of other people, are regarded as generally trusted (although always use Paypal... not your credit/debit card directly). One popular one is called Fasttech, if you look around the forum, others will be mentioned too. Not everything is great... so again forum recommendations can be useful. Shipping can vary from around 7+ days to about 4-6 weeks. So yes it is generally much slower than online UK shopping, but a lot cheaper. Thanks, I'll keep "fastech" For future shopping now, I've heard of it, but never looked, Will do now though. I should have come on this forum ages ago, probably have saved me a bomb
