I m underwater in West Wales , a river on my track , flooding in the valley and water on the road . An inch or 2 more and I m basicly cut off , I ll have to walk the valley into town (6 mile ) to get to a bridge I can cross to buy food lol . As usual had a crisis amidst it all , had to bury my old Staffy on my place in all the sodden chaos . Heres to easier times for us all

Theres no 'right' way Themer , its finding what works for your situation . I ve been vaping in a family setting around young children for a fair while , lil Chloe(nearly 3) is totally fascinated by vape gear, and I have to watch her like a hawk when I see her (with tobacco too ..and money ..and makeup ..anything adult ) . Have to keep everything in my pockets and make sure she dont frisk me

Oh yeah , are you using a driptip ? They re pretty good for cartos , its just a lil plastic tube but I reckon it makes quite a difference .

You can run em dry and reprime if you like , the flavour will usually give it away when they re needing attention . I tend to favour topping them up once the visible top of the wadding drys out ...every couple of cigs worth . I reckon they last a bit longer , the performance is more even , you only condom once , just easier . I also found carrying a lil spare bottle and a dry backup was less hassle than carrying prefilled spares . Glad its working for you

I had a look at the Torpedo package on TW and they re listed as IMRs so you should be doing better than that Chiller . Has it always been like this ? Also are you just on a 1.8 single coil at 3.7 ? Soz bud , dont mean to pry , its just perplexing . You may have compressed the grommet behind the pin and its losing power there ...or juice might have got in the tube and its wimping there ...I would have thought the failsafes would have kicked in tho . You ve got a years warranty on that though mate , I d be sending it back ....the only time my LT ever caned the batteries was when I was using 5V+ on dual coil cartos ...then I could shell 4 batteries in a night ...they acted exactly as you describe .

Hey Dave , sad to say its never had much concerted use but its attached to one , as it happens I ve finally got decent batteries that ll fit it now without magnets , I should fire it up My plan is to uprate a sale mk 2s to 510 with a stiffer spring (maybe screw mounted ) ...then I can go 18350/18650 or stack if I m feeling dangerous lol . I ve got no real need for HV or anything ...perfectly happy with modest LR...but its fun to tinker .

Hi Brian , yeah I keep a few bits about the place lol . It does help when you ve got a year+ supply of something reliable. I m pretty much maxed out on hardware ...I ll buy any cheap broken Don for spares and I ve got a yearning for an 18500 P+ ...but quite settled in my usage patterns . I couldnt possibly afford half of it without the forums though , its been an unexpected bonus

Hi All Yeah the rural life is pretty ....idyllic lol . Its not quite how I imagined it in my romantic 20s , its a lot darker , wetter and muddier for a start . For instance I ve gotta go get a bag of wood for the fire in a bit . Dont fancy the trudge to the shed in the rain at all But I ve never been so relaxed as a person . I used to love the 24 hour pace of a big city ...but the endless grind of urban life didnt suit me at all .

If you fancy the looks on that Gripper Chiller , I d say get a VV boxmod from one of our UK modders , Garry Dibley or Stig are 2 I ve used and they re still working fine . Longer warranty and more durable for pretty much the same money (can be cheaper ) . My Stig box electronics craps on the Lavatube board from a great height performancewize . Nowt much wrong with the lavatube mind , it sounds like your batteries are moody (what you using ?) or just unsuitable . I used to use any old junk on my lavatube V1 ...and just had to swap out at 3.7 ...or 3.8 with dual coils . I m slighly suspicious of your connector too , try lifting it a tad to see if you ve compressed the grommet and this is contributing to your performance loss . Even a crap battery shouldnt be wimping off that quick .

Hiya , been a member for ages ,but really cut back on the ecig forums after the TW debacle . Loads of you will have seen me about on UKV and down Pit . Hi For those that dont frequent such places Im Pikey , a sociopathic eccentric who lives in the wilds of West Wales . I ve been vaping on and off a long time (in ecig terms lol) and seen the industry mature and prices collapse . I m a commited dripper these days , so most of you newer users will be able to teach me loads about the new 'innovations' being churned out of China by the boatload .I try to keep current but its nigh on impossible lol. I m pretty happy with 510 LRs , the DCA and a simple battery mod . I use the Don , the Silver Bullet and the SD MK2 mostly ...all oldskool tat these days ...but still excellent IMO . Like most hobby vapers I ve got a few rebuildables but in my case , not one of em has paid for itself yet
