I have done a whole day with my new toy now and so far flipping marvelous ! I have switched between the clearomiser and the cartomisers that came in the kit and for now I think i prefer the carts, probably because they are more cigarette like to me. I filled them using the condom method then dripped in from the top and have been puffing away happily on the various flavours. I have read though not to let them go dry , will I get some sort of warning of this? Or should I refill them every day at least the menthol one which I mainly use. Need to make sure I don't run out of anything when I go back to work on Friday or i will end up popping to be shop for cigarettes too .

The flavour will drop off as the cotton wadding begins to dry and you will taste a burnt metal tang eventually, not nice. If I use cartos for work I take 3 filled and keep the condoms on them.

keep a minimum of two with you at all times and a bottle of juice, then if it starts running out top up as and when, simples.

Might be an idea to pre-fill a carto, then put the 'condom' ends back on so as you have a back up! We all loves back ups on this forum  |

You can run em dry and reprime if you like , the flavour will usually give it away when they re needing attention . I tend to favour topping them up once the visible top of the wadding drys out ...every couple of cigs worth . I reckon they last a bit longer , the performance is more even , you only condom once , just easier . I also found carrying a lil spare bottle and a dry backup was less hassle than carrying prefilled spares . Glad its working for you  |

Oh yeah , are you using a driptip ? They re pretty good for cartos , its just a lil plastic tube but I reckon it makes quite a difference .

I don't use the tip thing I just shoved the plastic bung that came with it back on! Oops is that wrong ? I picked it out with a fork and have just dropped some more liquid on my 3 favourites ready for tomorrow morning. That's going to be my real test missing my morning cigarette however on the plus side i won't be stood outside in the pouring rain and howling wind as I was today at 6am! Flipping ridiculous really! So tomorrow I can sit with a leisurely coffee and my E-cig in the warm and dry .
I really don't want to carry liquid around with me for the reason of I have an 18 month old and am paranoid that he gets his hands on the liquid. Childproof isn't always toddler proof caps though usually adult proof! I was struggling today with opening them! So I think I will top up 3 carts at night ready for the next day and be miss prepared ha!

I don't mind the plastic bungs at all. Not bothered really either way. If you don't want to carry liquid, fill up one or two more. |

Themer, drip tips are easier on the lips & also so much easier to remove when topping up your cartomiser |

Theres no 'right' way Themer , its finding what works for your situation . I ve been vaping in a family setting around young children for a fair while , lil Chloe(nearly 3) is totally fascinated by vape gear, and I have to watch her like a hawk when I see her (with tobacco too ..and money ..and makeup ..anything adult ) . Have to keep everything in my pockets and make sure she dont frisk me |
