Thank you all, I had actually lost it before it was named. I believe that things deservr to earn their names. It would of had a stardust on it also, so it is a double whammy of loss. Up untill that message there was always the hope that it would be found. Allas now all hope is gone. I hope to get some comfort when I start to rebuild that attys Beauty.
I know that there is a memorial thread for our lost ones, perhaps there could be one for our departed batteries and attys.

I am really sad today It is confirmed that I have lost one of my new eGo VV batteries I got from River. I have searched everywhere and I just got a message from the last friend I had out searching saying it was not with them. I had only used it once or twice, and now it is gone. The only thing I can think of is that it has fallen out of my rucksack somewhere on the buses and that basically means it is lost forever. I know it is only a battery but I love them all equally. It is such a sad day

Hi, and welcome. The links posted above are all good ones and as per your description of what your wanting, I wold say that you should look at them and see what you like. If there is one that eakes your fancy, post back and everyone can give you the ups and downs of that particular model. As for saving money, Great Idea, like it, that was my plan too. Unfortunatly I like it so much I think it has become a hobby and I am at the moment spending more than I wold of been if I carried on smoking. Saying that I am enjoying it, I love the health benefits, and the thing is that everything I spend on vaping, is not wasted, If I have something that I dont like I can either swap it for something I do, or sell it on. That is the good thing about vaping, nothing goes up in smoke

I was going to write out a full list of the incorrect "statements" in that article that Chris liked us to, but I had not gotten further than the 4th paragraph and I had already basically written out every word from it with the actual correct statements that had filled up 4 pages in word. So I have given up trying to point them out.
The writer of that article could not of ever even stepped away from his computer once in his investigation of the so called evidence that they write about. I would be able to produce a more accurate article on the dangers of child birth in zero gravity than who every wrote that report on electronic cigarettes. I would like to get my hands on the actual FDA report and their true findings, plus how the examination and trials were carried out. what were the controls what were the amounts, all hidden in lots of speculation and opinions.
Though I agree with the freedom of speech, I do think that certain people should be regulated as to what they do say in that IF you say it, prove it. And don't hide behind layers upon layers of links and referrals, because that is like the old game of Chinese whispers, where the so called findings are actually fictitious ramblings of a person who likes to have power over their audience.
Sorry but I have gotten into rant mode now because of the rubbish that has been printed there. The miss quotes are so bad that they are laughable.

It is not just the strength you have to think about Chris, it is also how much you vape. If your at it canstantly Would you do that with ciggy's? You just said that you do 10 of them a say, say that is an average of 10 puffs per ciggy so in total 100 puffs. But even if you were on the lowest nic strength, and you did 1000 puffs, then you would be taking in more nic than you were used to. Also you would be taking it in constantly rather than a hit, then break, then another hit a while late.
Do you use your e-cig, like you would a real one, as in only having a put at a breakl or are you constantly puffing away for more than you would with a ciggy?

Trevor, I know where Macca is coming from when he said what he said. In your initial post they are what any of us would say are signs to get yourself to a Dr. If you read your own post as a third person, what advice would you give them when they say they have tenderness in the chest and that they have a pace maker fitted? There have been recent events where people have posted about health issues, which most of us have not experienced, and like the repeated statement that none of us are doctors of medicine. When the suggestion of going to a GP is offered, the returning response has been along the lines of "You don’t understand" and it has appeared that they have actively gone looking for evidence to blame it on Vaping or allergies related to vaping. This can tend to lead to the people giving advice to throw their hands up in the air and give up trying to help. I am not saying that is your intention or that is what you are doing. But like I said, if someone on here had posted a post like you have, and you have been vaping for years without any of those symptoms or even heard of it being related to vaping, what would you say to that person? There has been a lot of good advice offered to you, and all of it in the interest of you and your health. I personally know of someone reacting to the either the PG or the VG. In fact my friend has found out that switching to pure VG has actually made things worse for her because for some reason it triggers her IBS, but with a 50/50 mix it doesn’t. My advice to you is this. 1. Go see your GP, you never know you might have a respitary infection and with a pace maker fluid on the lungs is an issue. 2. Think if you are doing anything different that might be causing it. 3. Not if it more noticeable at certain times and is there a link to those times. 4. Think, is your breathing any better? One thing I did find was the return of my breath. I was (I say was as I am more whale shaped now than torpedo) an accomplished swimmer and diver, since I have been smoking by lung capacity has greatly reduced. Since vaping my lung capacity has started to return. My normal breathing is a lot deeper than it used to be. It was noted above about the muscle between the ribs. It might be that you are now giving it a better work out and it is telling you that you are. 5. When you feel the tightness in your chest try taking some Renne. It is quite possible that you are getting acid reflux as a symptom of vaping which should die down if you increase your fluid throughput. 6. I do not know if you are on medication that might be reacting to the PG or VG. Please go to the Dr and let them give you a look over. Tell them what you are doing, get advice from them It might be something more serious, and not a laughing matter. At the very least it will put your mind at rest as to what it is not that is causing your symptoms. I hope you do not think I am trying to bully you or teach you to suck eggs, but you did ask for our thoughts and opinions and we have advised our thoughts and opinions. Remember vaping might not be for every one, the people on here could probably say, hand on heart that it has given them more years of life than if they had carried on smoking, so for them it is a good thing. Cheers mate

Jason, I have been looking up on the Chinese markets about different circuit protection as I have been looking and have started to build mods. On a few of the circuit description, which has been translated into chinglish, they incorporate a safety fuse which is able to be reset. On one of the descriptions is said about If the battery is at full capacity when the short occurs to put it on to the charger to reset the fuse. I will say that what I have just put is an interpretation of what they had put as it took a while to get their meaning as they often mentions "Putting shorts on the divece", which I am assuming does not mean dressing up the Riva like a Ken or Barbie lol It might be worth a shot to try and reduce your returns even further.

Right I have some of these bad boys now. Very quick delivery from iVapour Elixir so happy with that. It took a bit of twiddling to get one into my Argento Maxi but got there in the end with a bit of patience. I measured the unloaded voltage before and after but there was no change, I did not really expect to see any, as it would be under load that the difference would be seen. To be honest I could not tell any difference in the performance of the Argento, but am guessing that is because it is new and there has not been a chance for dirt or corrosion to be built up. I have noticed one big difference though in that it keeps my battery in tighter than the old spring so it does not bounce about and rattle like it used to. I was thinking about putting some sort of sleeve in there to stop it, but don't need to now. Having done that I put another one into my Gripper mod as I have been having a few tiny niggles with it, though love it dearly in that it is not firing straight away when I press the button. This was a struggle to fit the hot spring in to. There were a few blue air moments when I thought I had managed to get most of it in then, TWANG and I had to go across the kitchen to find the spring, that was if it had not hit me in the face (it did that twice). The replacing of the spring has sorted out the firing delay I was getting on the gripper mod which makes me think that there is room for improvement on the design when it comes to electrical conductivity. Now knowing the fight I had trying to get it into the Gripper I looked at the LT to see if I could fit one in there. I really don't think I will be able to as the original spring is even smaller in diameter than the Gripper and that was a huge pain in the bum. If anyone has done this then I would love to know how you got it in there and does it make an actual difference? So in conclusion I wold say that if your ordering something from iVapour Elixir to put one or two of these on the order.

They most definatly are strange. I do think that I am still going through changes in taste after giving up the nasties too. It is not in a way that youwould think either. Coffee for one, I am actually having mine stronger now than when I was smoking as I am finding it tasting a bit weak, but sweet stuff is tasting more sweet now. As for menthol and mints, I was a moderate mine eater, and I would not go anywhere near menthol anything unless I was so bunged up with a cold (AKA Man Flu) that I could not breath without a sniff on a Vic's stick or albus oil. Now I am starting to perfer the mentol vapes to the others. I just hope soon I will be able to settle down to just s few flavours cos atm it is rediculos how many different flavours I have in my kit. OMG I just counted them, I have over 50 bottles (I have not counted anything under the 10ml size)

I think that there are well dones to be issued out here
1. To Phoenix for stopping smoking 2. Grand daughter for speaking up and knowing about vaping 3. The school for having the No Smoking team come in 4 The No Smoking team for actually knowing and promoting vaping as an healthier alternative.
My local Stop Smoking team did not even know what vaping was. Bloody useless lot they are. lol
