Didn't Dee drop her Provari & Iatty and the Iatty thread bent at an angle ??? I think she straightened it out. Yes I did sadly! My Provari still isn't working (nothing to do with dropping it,) I'm going to have to return it to Provape for repairs! And so glad you got it sorted

Thanks Perps, Imeo I actually think it may be that juice as leaked from the Iatty into the Provari and that's what's causing the error messages. I've left it with the bottom off for a couple of days and it's now working with my dual coils which it wouldn't touch before. Can't try it with the Iatty until I get some wick, but have a feeling it should *fingers crossed* be OK. I've had too much going on here to do much about anything, things should be much easier after Tuesday next week

I wonder if it's an intermittent contact - either on the coil wires to the terminals or the centre post to the battery connector? I've heard of something similar happening with a different attie on a Provari. I think that the Provari gets confused if the resistance (and hence the current) fluctuates, and shuts down to protect itself. Try the "silver foil ball" trick on the battery connector, and doublecheck that the coil and no-res wires are secure by wiggling everything. I really don't know, I've tried several atties and most of them aren't working on it, my 510's are working OK for the 901's with adaptor won't work nor will the duel coils ???

I'm as much use as a chocolate teapot on anything remotely technical as you know Dee . . . but I have ordered some wick on Tim's group buy so I'll happily pop a couple of metres in the post to you when I recieve it. You strand it down, and get lots that way for your metres . . . or something like that. But Tim does say it works an absolute treat on the Iatty. Thanks Perps you're an angel How's that precious little pooch of yours?

Thanks Clockworks, already done all of that! Nothing touching on the coils, 1.7ohms reading but when I come to use it gives the error immediately. I can't understand why it's reading the ohms but then giving the error message. I've tried altering the voltage but no difference

I've done a multitude of different jobs and had a few businesses of my own over the years. I finally settled into a Family support role with Social services children and families. Cancer put paid to that and I decided to put my experience to good use and become a foster mum. I've been fostering for the last 6 years, mainly problematic teenagers.

Thanks Ian, I've made several coils and still getting the same problem. My wick is breaking in half also, so it could be that! I've only got enough wick left now to make 2 coils so I'm a bit boogered! LOL

Got a major problem, my Iatty will no longer work on the Provari, I just keep getting various error messages. A normal atty will work and the Iatty will work on my Riva battery so I'm totally confused. I did notice that the plastic on the top of the Iatty has melted through but for now, have managed to repair with some electrical tape (stops the wire touching the metal and shorting on the top connector wires) but it still refuses to work on the Provari! ??? Any suggestions most welcome

I'd be interested in a couple of these so if anyone wants to order I'd be happy to split shipping costs Would have to make it clear that they're for different people as they're only including the extras per batch ordered by the looks of things.

It's the thicker stuff that came with the Iatty I'm afraid Clockworks, so it's not going to be of any help to you. The supplier that is here in the UK would be perfect but they're not interested

So sorry I've not been around for a while, school holidays and some other issues are getting in the way at the moment.
Is everyone sorted for their wick? I've only realised today as I've had to make a new coil and noted how little wick I have left.
I've not heard back from the UK company so can only imagine that they're not interested in supplying us. I could still order from the USA if there's enough wanting the wick, it's going to work out extremely cheap.
Let me know.
Dee
