I get the same taste as your explaining. And i found that if one little bit of the wire is not on the wick then i get that taste. It will not go away

I just had a go at it again on my 2nd AGA-T and it came out good. I do think it must be the cig papers that help with hot spots.. All i do is Burn it once then roll it,And then burn hell out of it again. The i wrap some cig paper around where a will put the coil and wrap it. Stick it on and let the coil burn the cig paper away. I dont get hot spots or hot legs this way.

Its a great feeling when it works out 1st time. I also wrapped the wick with some rolling paper and burnt it off with the coil. Everyone seems to think that helps with hot spots

Made my 1st mesh wick just now and it was so easy after watching some of Todd's vids. I had heard so many horror stories that i was putting it off for as long as i could. But it was so easy after all.

I always give em a good clean out before a new coil. I have found if a wrap the coil clockwise around that part then it does not come lose. So am now happy with it again

I find the dark cool cupboard for 7 days is best for steeping. If you cant wait that long then Buy some stuff that does not need steeping. I just not long got 100ml of GVC and its locked away in my cool dark cupboard for 7 days. and while i wait for that i am vaping on some stuff i have laying around.

Yer i did that and it still comes loose after a few hours. I have took at apart again then made sure its all on the right way and the bottom nut is as far down as it can go and the other two are flush where the wire will be wrapped. Will see if it does it again and report back

This was my 1st rebuildable and with some help i got it going and my 1st coil was spot on with 0 hot spots. It came out at 1.3 and knew after a little use it would climb higher to maybe 1.5. I found that it had got to 2.5 and was sure that could not be right. So had a look and found the centre post part was coming loose and i had to keep tightening it up. No mater what i do it will not stay tight and hold the wire well. Is there a fix for this

Am sure it's how the volts are sent. The LT sends it via wild bursts and that can't be good. A steady volt in my opinion will work better than a harsh burst
