why dont you just purchase one from vaporbreak.com/en/PM Robby for the big discount code. there is a huge thread running on our purchases 'vaporbreak.com £19-97!! incl ship VAMO' Because they are NOT STAINLESS STEEL !! To quote: "About This is a brass body mod with chrome finish and is very solid feeling and quite heavy compared to lavatubes." Nuff Said !!

Discount codes are there to be used. If not, the vendor would not offer them.
There is no "etiquette" for discount codes - just business.

Great device that corrects some of the (very slight) problems in the AGA-T.
A new AGA-T is also imminent, I understand.

I still have my very first original e-cig that I bought in July 2008 from a certain Mr. Jason Cropper (Jason Miles Alexander Cropper) on eBay (you could do that then), who advised me at the time that his web site www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk/ (which is now TECC.) went live on 01/06/2008. Yes, it had a battery that lasted an hour if you were lucky, crap atomisers, and cartridges that held about 1/2 ml of juice. Things have fortunately moved on a bit since then.

I still suspect that the silica tubing has a coating on it.
As I mentioned earlier, burn it of with a LIGHTER. not a blowtorch.
You should then find it becomes more flexible and wicks better.

First thoughts would be that the tubing he's supplying as extra is not the same as fitted in the Maximus.
Perhaps he sourced it from somewhere else?
Unless he says we will not know.
And second thoughts - the silica tube may have something else on it. Try burning off with a lighter before using it ? If it seems quite stiff it may have a resin coating on it.
I do this with some of the carto tubes.

The tubing does have to fit quite snugly on the mesh otherwise you won't get the heat transfer.
That's why I mentioned that if you roll a 2mm wick the the carto inner silica tube fits just right.
Macca suggested that if you do source some slightly oversized silica tube, then you could slice it down the length and perhaps trim some off or wrap it on the mesh...not too many times, though !
