Dipping my toe into boro tanks and looking for a good MTL / loose MTL recommendation I've done a bit of research but could do with a bit of experienced input if anyone has any on the shortish list below VWM Dope Psyclone X Susco Mission XV Orbit Vapesnail RBA EVL Alien Mission orbit with MTL kit? Bit on the high end price point but it's a fantastic vape and has a system to stop airlock to aliminate dry hits. I was very impressed with mine very close to my Kayfun regards to flavour 😀 Kayfun BB?

so far: The Dope - good MTL - has the 510 connector base so the easiest to use - and certainly the cheapest option - so best value for money The Atmizoo VapeSnail original - most AF options - best quality MTl smoothness and options - the SnailTank is great -: the only negative aside from the price would be the lack of native 510 so have to remove the AF connector to use the 510 adapter to test fire the coil. VapeShell clone is good - around the same as the Dope -: maybe a little easier to build with more options with the 2 chimneys - but the adapter for the 510 takes the overall just below the Dope for me due to ease of build etc

the OG Atmizoo VapeSnail arrived today in good nick from eBay similar to the VapeShell - kinda it's younger brother. has a chimney reducer instead of 2 chimneys - and that thing is small - but if you're really wanting to suck your sinuses out in MTL Vaping - this will allow you to do that LoL have a simple Kanthal 1.22Ohm build - the normal chimney and the 1.5ml AF pin - and that's a slightly loose MTL vape for me - but swapped from the 1.2ml - which was good. i prefer a long slow draw - and keeping my sinuses in place (it's Hayfever season and a tougher draw = increased sneezing etc) Very smooth draw the accompanying Snail Tank is really good - apparently the bottom entry for the bridge, so you don't have to drain the tank to tweak your build or change the wick - was the concept of Atmizoo and the SnailTank the first to use it - Awesome Innovation excluding postage - for less than £50 for an original - seeming like a great investment

Ive been trying this out the kayfun rba clone is ok for MTL I rememberd why I stopped using the BB Ive got a beard and my whiskas keep getting caught between the body and the panels when its near my face its really anoying It was why I was looking at DOTMOD AIOs but the boro stuff wont fit. Shave your whiskers..... and problem solved! I was put off trying the KF Clone purely because of the screw on cap - that's why i went for the Bantam bridge (in the post) - apparently has nicked the KF Af screw idea - but the chimney separates more easily for easy tweaking of the build 🤔

received my SteamShell clone today from 2fdeal - $27.99 - £22ish - in black. Comes with 2 chimneys, the narrower more MTL is installed and just pushed in with an o-ring. good selection of AF pins smaller MTL ones fit inside the installed main one - and the AF pins MUST be removed to use the 510 adapter for test firing when building. Easy enough to build - 1.2ml AF chosen - and a solid MTL vape with plenty of options to get close to your sweetspot.
Flavour gif enough for me - but I'm not that bothered nor have a current selection of juices to really test this.
the Original Vapesnail should arrive this week to compare it to.

Aloha kind of doing the same thing bought a Cthulu boro box - and the RBA it came with is OK but not great mtl ordered a Dope from 2f - aroungld £15 - and much better MTL (improved with an MTL integrated Drip tip too) - a bit more tricky to build and install - probably more my learning curve than the Dope Jake -: and the version i got (the cheapest) didn't have the AF pins diameter easily marked - but easy enough to build and using the 3rd smallest (guess the 1.2) good flavour too.
Found a genuine Vapesnail on eBay that would arrive next week as well as a Vapeshell from 2f as well - well let you know
the other device i bought was The Stubby 21 - with the 7ml Stubby Tank - much more solid (and heavy) boro device with a bigger and nicer screen too. The Stubby Tank itself - really aimed at DL vapers - really easy to build on, and can pop a 1.2ml Air Flow thing on - remove 2 of the steel cable wicks (plug the holes with blue tack) and use a bit of extra wick tucked under itself - for a loose restricted DL or very loose MTL - there is also an MTL conversion kit available separately - with smaller af pins, a smaller chamber and actual plugs for the removed ss wicks - at around £20 - which i have ordered but to be delivered to a friend in the UK, as I'm currently at me Ma's in Ireland and postage and probably customs charges double it's price 😳 If you can pick up a Stubby with the tank included and get the MTL KIT for £100 - that would be great value i think and 7ml should last a while

Aloha Ross I've got the Kayfun X too - and finding that, surprisingly to me, the Innokin Z80 is a great mod for it - size is spot on, battery door is screw in type so offers longevity, and has a Refresh feature for the coil - which gives a dying set up a few extra hours improved use before needing to be changed - perfect even out and about - or in your case when driving. I'll try and add a pic later from the computer

Travelling a bit in SE Asia - and vaping is fine in Bali with quite a few vape shops selling kit and juice - and disposables readily available. Liking the Kafun X and Innokin Z80 combo - the refresh feature on the Z80 gives extra life to a coil that otherwise would need changing - handy when out and about and don't need to carry tools ☯️😎

Still happy to buy old Kanger Top Tank compatible stock coils - preferably 1.5-1.8 Ohm - if anyone has them laying around not being needed

Much Appreciated bear2 - ordered a couple to be safe The Kanger SubTank mini came out when I was living in Ecuador and after much persuasion the owner of the bricks and mortar vape shop in Cuenca got 2 in - one for both of us 🔥☯️
