Aloha Been going through old vaping kit at me Ma's - and stumbled across me Old Kanger TopTank - but can't find it's RBA deck and only a couple of packs of the Coils If anyone has the RBA deck and or the coils Kangertech Upgraded Bottom Dual Coils (BDC) 1.5/1.8s or the other compatible options - then up for buying them off ya Still not a bad vape - and as Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam (my next destination) ALL have Vape 'discouraging' policies (i.e. Government owned tobacco) - taking something simple and stashable that won't kill me to lose - would be a better idea

Something like this RTA mentioned here Meclyfe x Fallout Vape XRP RTA which has both an RTA or stock Voopoo PNP coil options (2 different bases) might be ideal - and also has the changeable AF under the coil with out having to move the coil As to why Forums etc are quiet these days - i'm assuming that most of the 'Old Guard' have found the vaping kit that they're happy with and no longer seeking the latest brand new shiny Toy syndrome that used to drive us to Vape Mail addictions I was living in China for the last 8 years - couldn't actually by new kit easily (bizarre though that might sound) and had little to contribute - as even my daily life was so different and not an avid taker of pictures

Aloha Depends totally on so many factors: Direct Lung or Mouth to Lung Restrictive or loose PG/VG ratio Rebuildable - but with pre-made coils or just stock coils? Maximum width ETC
I use both pre-built coils and wrap myself in RTA's - prefer MTL and around 60/40 PG/VG for instance - and mood depends on how restrictive i want it - and there are a few RTA's these days that allow you to play with the air flow directly under the coil

NB Swapping the Kanger Top Tank onto the Innokin Kroma 217 - and switching between it and an Iinokin Ares2 on a Coolfire Z80 - with the same juice and Drip Tip - and I'm actually having to look occasionally to see which I'm vaping as the difference in Shape and quality of the vape isn't as great as you'd expect despite the nearly decade difference in innovation ☯️

Going through the boxes left for the past 8ish years at me Ma's - and stumbling across old Vape gear - so currently vaping on a KangerTech Toptank with 1.8 Ohm VOCC dual coil on the eLeaf Pico original with a black silicone case on And actually, with 20mg juice - it's a decent enough Vape - if a tad gurgling ☯️

Having been in China - and despite Fastech (RIP) being based in HK/Guangdong not being permitted to sell to China mainland - I'd order things and get them sent free post/cheap to me Ma's in Ireland, and then she'd add them to 'Care parcels' she'd send to me. Consequently, certain items weren't included and have just received now I'm back - some years later Lol One of these - the Vaporesso Aurora Play - 2ml pod Bought as was on sale and looked 'interesting' and without seeing the reviews and forgotten about. OMG - what a delightful surprise - looks kinda Zippo-esque, but vapes really, really nicely. 650 mAh battery - 2 1.2Ohm 2ml pods (discovered they're still available to buy in the UK) 3 power settings - lowest red gives a loose-ish MTL, highest Green, a restricted DL No AF control but, like as is - and apparently uses the Vaporesso C coil tech and has built in Temperature control to stop dry hits 🔥 What a lovely little Stealth device that also delivers ☯️

The Kroma 217 also offers a Coil+ feature - supposed to increase/enhance coil life - either for Watts or Volts mode - which apparently does the same as the Refesh function - but every time you press the fire button. Using this feature, however, means that the Power option offering 3 levels of intensity: Soft (my preference for a long slow MTL vape), Normal and Hard (better for DL or Stealth vaping) is disabled - the display showing either C+ or S,N,H to remind you.

Aloha All Having been in China for the last few years - and in the last year, Ecig tat being nigh on impossible to get except pods and then disposables - finally back and able to get a choice of mods etc
Going for reliability based on past experience - and Innokin certainly have provided that for me.
So bought a Z80 for 18650 option and now received a Kroma 217 via Health Cabin - and both have the Refresh option in their menu system. The idea is that by using this feature it prolongs coil life and boosts the coil when the flavour becomes a little muted or less vapour production drops off. It seems to 'send' a burst of 40% power through the coil to 'shake' it and 'rejuvenate' it. Refresh can be Auto for a quick Refesh - or Extended set by the length of time you hold the Fire button - for longer used coils. Whilst this seems likely to be aimed at Innokin stock coils - I've mainly been using this feature with my Rebuildbles - those moments when I'd usually be thinking of rewicking the coil (especially late at night when to do so is unappealing) for example. And it seems to do enough for me to wait until a more convenient moment. Any other thoughts, experience or advice?

Mom and Pop's Calipitter Chow might be of interest - not sweet, not tobacco - hint of vanilla - still get the concentrate after 10 years and even got Chefs to post it to me in China a few times. One of me few YT reviews -

Mechlyfe x Fallout Vape XRP RTA Found on ecigone ecigone.co.uk/collections/rta-tanks/products/mechlyfe-x-fallout-vape-xrp-rta-luxury-kit£7.99 well spent - MTL RTA that also has a Voopoo PNP Coil option Easy to build RTA that offers a 'True MTL' experience- reduced af on the ring option and a screw to adjust the airflow directly under the coil. The spare tank comes with a PNP 'bridge' installed (which does drop out easily enough) - unscrew the bottom, pop in the PNP coil of choice, and screw in the bottom bit again and jobs a good'un Both options are good - as an MTL RTA it's certainly a good option - just needs a better Drip Tip As a PNP Coil tank - it's really good with excellent AirFlow options - currently rocking the 1.2 Ohm coil on the smallest AF option and the best manual button choice I've tried only Bettered by Auto option that this can't provide - but balanced by Top fill.

Another sad loss! China is definitely having a crack down on vaping products within China - my main dealer has had to close his website and WeChat (China's messenging and payment app) because of the restrictions (moved to Telegram though so not totally gone), The Pandemic has/is costing China a heck of a lot of money - and, as ALL tobacco is State owned - i guess that's where they're looking to reclaim some of the money from. Surprised that this would go beyond the Chinese Mainland - but, maybe the political 'Game is afoot' - and they've made International Trade deals with countries with Huge Tobacco lobbies - just a specualtion. Thailand, Cambodia and i think Vietnam also have State Owned tobacco - so.... If i wanted owt from Fasttech - i had to get it sent to me Ma in Ireland for free, and then she'd send it back to me here (nothing with batteries included) because the Autonomous Trading Zones of HK and Shenzhen can't ship to mainland China - and so it goes! Keep the Faith folks and hoping that you can still find affordable, quality vape kit to tide you by!

A Loss even for me here in China - only a couple of small orders a year - but they'd deliver to China and the postage was good too!

Maybe 18 months ago - whenever they first came out - bought a couple of the bigger Argus pod kits - mainly for the larger battery and Auto switch. They worked great but both stopped working in Auto mode - by the start of this year. Fine in button mode - so kept them. Just watching the footie - and picked up one of my vapes - and vaping happily without using a button - and realized that the Argus Auto is working again 🔥 I'd tried everything months ago to try and get it to work - thorough cleaning - leaving in the warmth and sun, to dry - even blowing air through it - to Zero effect. The magic of the unexpected LoL Just goes to show - don't throw stuff out immediately - you never know.
