Just a quickie before i post about my visit proper. For Foclecig and the crew at Focalecig When i first posted about Vaping in China - Doris was one of the first to drop me a PM and offer her assistance - and helped with translations for things like Electronic Cigarette equipment, so that i could label my luggage correctly - just in case there was a problem. And i had never been a customer either - Bless Her! On arrival in China, we stayed in touch via WeChat, the Chinese WhatsApp, and when i knew i was heading to ShenZhen, asked if i could visit? She was very surprised that i'd want to see 'such a small vendor', but agreed nonetheless, with or without Spinfuel.  When i visited not only was i welcomed by Doris, and welcomed with traditional green tea, I was then shown around the office and warehouse, given some much needed juice, a Genelocity atomiser, and then taken for a slap up feed by one of the managers and Doris herself. Then to top it off, as i was having difficulty getting a taxi, Doris used the Chinese Uber stylie app, DD i think, organised a driver, and then only went and paid too! So for me, personally, Foclecig has to be a candidate for Vendor willing to go above and beyond for a vaper - whose not even a customer - just an AAEC user!  So big THANKS and much appreciation to Doris and Team Foaclecig  |

I'll have a lookie at th Electronics Market - if i can find it all by myself tomorrow. Last week it was Drone central with the ickle beggars flying around - very cool jet like one though that had me interested - and i'm not normally bothered. LoL

I rescheduled due to lack of taxi  The taxis in Shenzhen are zone specific and as it was raining anyway the drivers that stopped took one look at the address and decided they could make more money staying local  So having rescheduled, manage to work out where the nearest subway was (about a mile and a half) then i could've got a subway most of the way and a taxi at the other end - you live and learn (well hopefully) |

Much appreciate all the help and advice calnorth - still awaiting what Spinfuel's preferred specs might be - but the Xaomi might be an option. Be good to show folk what the roads are actual like over here - cos seeing is definitely the only way folk back home would believe it!  I'm a basic point and click multiple times, and hope one good'un turns out kind of photographer - whereas the Chinese are Selfie mad! Much better with an old style view finder than a screen to - but not that that is an option really these days  |

Like i said - i'm a doodler with words - the tech spec of photography is definitely more of a hobbiest/professional gig - and so i hadn't really thought about it, let alone budgeted for it. My Note 3 will have to do if i can't find anything worthwhile - something like the Xiaomi Yi might be ideal - but probably won't have time to get to know it before i need it - which won't be until next week now! |

Aloha Need to source a camera that would be good for stills and video, and be good enough for publication in www.spinfuel.com. I'm a doodler with words, more than a camera jockey, so as point and click as possible. The only camera i have is me phone, which can take decent pics and vid, but i have a tendency to get me thumb in an otherwise decent picture. Specs will do as i'm going to struggle to find a brand (or at least a genuine one over here) and the language barrier is going to be a killer too - but if i can show them specs and me budget then something might be possible. Speaking of budget - i really don't have that much to spend - even if (and i say if) i get reimbursed for it - maybe £100-150 spare at the mo (and there possibly goes Hong Kong). I do have an old 8meg Samsung - but that isn't going to cut the mustard to be honest with the Spinfuel bosses. Oh and if possible i need to be shopping in about 10 hours as i'm meeting Sigelei at 2pm my time - so 12 hours! Thanks in advance for any help/advice/suggestions  |

I usually mix using M+P's - and usaully Tobacco Praze - sometimes mixed with Calipitter Chow.
Using UK bought BP PG/VG and more often than not, Nic Vape nic - though also used Pirate Vapes nic too.
This wasn't too bad for coil/wick gunking - could get away with 5 days or more.
Then i moved to China and sourced some 'USP' (honest Guv'nor) PG - and was getting black gunked wick coils within 3, in the KFL either with Stock OCC's or my own build - and black marks on me teeth!
Sourced the French Organic VG - and diluted the mix down - and voila - happily on day 5!
THis is using both the Aqua FX, and the cCells - the FX had the same problem before i added the new VG!

Must be said - has gone quiet. I've tried the TC Ni head - not really for me - at least on the Target mod - a bit too cool a vape and too 'soft' for my preference - but good flavour and Ok VP The Kanthal head - i've been enjoying for the last 5 days - better temperature, slightly on the 'fierce' side, but not too much and excellent flavour and sufficient VP for me. I find it slightly dry - hopefully that's just the way it is - some atty's are 'wetter' than others |

I don't know @hondo - but if you have the linkie to the clone recipe i'd be interested. Mind you it's hard enough getting concentrates that might be OK in China - but with only 500ml of premixed left - i'm going to have to find some soon or stop sub ohm or worse  |

Yep - China pretty much has a 'Factory and Office Shut Down' for Chinese New Year/Spring Festival' for 2 weeks. Why i get such a long holiday at the moment China has many families, where the folk from the rural areas have migrated to the big cities for work in the factories etc, and often leave their kids with the grandparents to care for, whilst they're away. So for some, this (and possibly the 'Golden Week' or Autumn Festival), is the only time that the families re-unite. The cities can become relatively 'deserted' and public transport heaving, as this annual migration occurs. That's one of the reasons why this time of year is such a huge celebration, as some families are together, husbands, wives, grandparents and children, for the only time in the year! It will be interesting seeing it first hand - but remember the frustration of the lack of Vapemail all to well too |
