Luckily my FB friends warned me to bring some warmer clothing along with me shorts China - the Mid to South anyway, doesn't cope with cold well. Little to no insulation in the buildings and A/C, if fitted is the only form of heating as they don't have chimney's for inside fireplaces either. So also expect a birthrate explosion this Autumn - especially with the new 2 child policy - as the most likely way of staying warm

Electrical goods are often more expensive here - anything that is branded with a foreign companies Logo, even if actually made here - is subject to a very hefty import tax - that's if it's genuine of course LoL. If you can find a Brand that only has their products assembled in China - who happen to manufacture too - then they would be a good bet to buy from as it's likely to be pretty close to the same equipment set up used for the more expensive brand

Well i probably bought the wrong thing - but got a Canon IXUS 160 - with a spare battery fo around £100 - point and shoot - no stabilisation though - but 720 vid and takes a 64Gb card - so with the spare battery that should do. Would have spent a bit more but without being sure if Spinfuel will chip in....

Yes a few 'locals' but more your 'middle class, designer Chinese' - so the price is a plus point - Vaping is a way to make your nicotine habit MORE expensive (and therefore have higher Status) over here, whilst at he same time being 'Patriotic' as the hardware is made in ShenZhen! The imported juice is just having the dollar to be decadent!

Was out today, and meandering around Coco Park, one of the 'High End' Shopping Mall's here in ShenZhen, as you do, with vague ideas of finding some cheapish headphones (having left mine back in me apartment in Xianning) and also food, when i turned a corner and stumbled into the first B+M style Vape shop i've seen in China! VAPE MASTER! Catering for the Beginner to intermediate market, and stocking almost exclusive imported US juice - with eGo one style devices (though i didn't check the actual brand) at 699rmb. Not cheap. Then i looked at the price of the juice. I admit to not having purchased pre-made juice for at least a couple of years - but 246rmb for 30ml (£26ish) seem expensive (ok there is a huge import tax on anything not made by Chinese companies here - even if tis made in China) but ouch! But Bless their Muji socks, when, having gone through yet another exciting game of charades/pictionary, they discovered that all i really wanted was some cotton wick - they dug into their stores and gave me a square - Gratis - as they didn't happen to sell it! Well that should see me through with the Aqua FX until i get back - still need to find headphones, but did manage to find a pizza place that actually used real mozzarella - Hallelujah!

I generally agree with that JazzyJ . Now i 've diluted the juice, but sill get the M+P's at roughly 10-15%, but as the first time it was diluted it was with the Chinese PG, i would have expected less 'gunking' as it became less VG. The opposite was true. This time, the last of me M+P's flavours went in, and diluted with VG, so i was expecting the problem to remain - but got a week out of coil with a lot less discolouration of the juice too?

ShenZhen is a 'Special Economic Zone' thing, so set up for dealing with the west more than China! I can order from taobao.com - but go through the whole trying to find something acceptable, process again - with vendors i've never heard of, and flavours i might not like. I have sourced nic - 1L of 36mg for around $40 delivered - and he does flavours - but only 100ml at a time. I should be visiting Joyetech this week - hopefully in the company of one of the Joyetech USA bigwigs, so might try and get some juice off them whilst i'm there - worth a try anyway

Strange me post disappeared fisher M+P's can take an ickle longer than some to steep - i assume that's cos tis VG based - so remember to change the flavour in a calculator to VG too Actually in a quandary at the mo - run out of M+P's now - so do i impose on me Ma to send me some more - or start the trial and error of trying to find something that might be acceptable here - bearing in mind that i can't order from FT, Health Cabin etc - without getting in sent to Ireland and then sent back to China

Aloha I probably average around 15% - though 10% is OK if you have a few weeks to let it steep. I usually mix 100ml at a time and use around a bottle and a half of concentrate but a bottle and 2 weeks steeping is OK for me with Praze.
I'm not a 'flavour chaser' though - as long as it's not horrid i probably vape it - but M+P's Praze has been my all day vape for around 3 years now ????

The quality of the base nic is important - but different bases can taste better with different flavours. I usually get Nicvape's nic as i like the clean taste - but also it works well with whatever flavour i choose. Pirate vape - a while back - reduced some of his nic for being 'dirty' - nowt wrong just meant it was perfect for tobacco juice but 'tainted' the flavour of something more delicate. I have a fondness for Mom and Pop's concentrates - just mix at thy preferred percentage and steep. VG based and enough variety of flavours for most tastes. Plus Mom is pretty OCD about always keeping her mixing lad Clean and sterile - which i have sympathy for but a huge bonus as a customer. The Aroma Zone 'French Organic' VG i discovered here in China - is less chemically and has a slightly more 'fruity' sweetness to it - and seems very clean, comapred to Boots own (usually bought at 3 for 2 prices). It could all be placebo effect, or purely in the imagination - but if it adds to the enjoyment of thy juice - who cares

I was getting black gunky wick and coils after as little as two and definitely 3 days, using a KST mini, which i hoped was down to the 'Authentic USP' PG i bought over here -still using Nicvape's nic and M+P's flavourings. Had the same problem using the pre-installed coil in the Aqua FX - so it wasn't just the KST or my building. I'd diluted my original 30mg nic/PG/VG down to about 9 using the Chinese PG - and then diluted that by half using the Aroma Zone VG - so now around 4.5mg = fine for Sub Ohming. And - more than a week on - and the juice is still flavoursome and not darkened too much - tomorrow i'll swap out the coil and take a look. But the vast improvement does suggest that the PG was the problem (and that the VG is at least OK).

As @pipeman101 says - it can be tough over here, being a westerner, so friendly messages, and someone to sooth the 'fraying nerves' and make you feel a welcomed guest, is an absolute and real treasure. Thanks Foclecig
