Thank you so much for your encouragement, Ken I have just had a non smoking friend round for a coffee - she has NEVER smoked, and her first comment on walking in to my house was how lovely and fresh it smelt!! She actually admitted that in the past, after visiting me, she would go home and shower, and chuck her clothes in the washer as they always smelt of smoke - because I used to sit at the kitchen table whilst chatting with her, and basically chain smoke. Liberating indeed!

And just to add that my ebay selling will be 'liberating' as well! I have a summerhouse at the end of the garden which i actually use to keep all the bits and bobs that I want to sell on ebay in. I was taking my laptop out to the summerhouse so I could list stuff to sell, away from the house, as I never smoked in the summerhouse. Now I can list in the house without fear of the stuff I list smelling of smoke! Cor blimey this vaping is soooo liberating!

Awwwww thank you Chrissie We have just booked a weekend away in a lovely hotel in Glossop in the beautiful High Peak, and it was smashing to be able to actually book a NON smoking room - instead of hoping the weather will stay good enough for us to smoke outside......... Liberating is a very appropriate word for vaping!

Hi everyone, Well it has now been 5 days and 3 hours (yes I'm even counting the hours!) since I have had a roll-up.........well actually that is a little lie as yesterday morning I played the devil with myself and rolled a cig, took 3 drags, grimaced, put it out, brushed me teeth to get rid of the horrible taste, and swore NEVER again! Hubby is the same, and is equally as impressed with his Riva. What a liberation! No more stinky ashtrays, no more smelly house or car, no more cursing cus me lighter has run out, etc etc. Over the past few days I have washed all the curtains, cushion covers, bedding, etc. I have washed the leather suite, cleaned all the white kitchen cupboards, skirtings, door and window frames, and this weekend we are going to re-paint the kitchen and lounge ceilings........... and have the lounge carpet professionaly cleaned - Happy days! Hubby gets 10 packs of baccie FREE every month and so we are going to sell them to our still smoking friends, and that money will pay for all our e-cig requirements. We can't believe, in this short time, how much our taste buds and sense of smell have improved! Dave (hubby) has an extremely stress full job, but he swears that the e-cig totally chills him out! And that he has far more time on his hands, and is already noticing an increase in energy. Maybe we are lucky in that we have had no 'newbie' problems at all with our Riva's, or the e-juices we have picked. This is the best thing we have ever done and we both wish we had done it ages ago. And a huge thank you to all you lovelies on this forum for your patience, guidence, and expertise - I may not post every day but I sure do lurk!

Thank you Chrissie for the hug.
Oh don't worry about daft old me - my stress is self inflicted!
I have a lovely son and daughter, both have their own homes, daughter has a baby son, son has a son due in October...........but their partners are a PITA!!!!
Well I suppose they are not really, I suppose it's because my daughter confides in me too much, and son doesn't confide in me at all........and I am one of those PITA mums that thinks NO-ONE is good enough for their kids, so i set myself up for a lot of falls that are entirely my own fault.
But I have a fantastic hubby who loves me warts and all, a lovely home, and I don't need to work - so I don't. Suppose I have too much time on my hands to be truthful- and I think I am turning in to my Mother (whi is a beautiful, kind, generous woman, but a right old nosy bug*er Lol!

Hi Scylla, and lovely to be here - I'll no doubt be posting my trials and errors for a good while yet! **Wish I knew how to do smilies on here.....**
Dee (((((xx))))) Poor you! I really do hope life starts getting better for you VERY soon! I also have been stressed with one thing and another just lately, and I must be honest and say that I am so grateful that the e-cig and this forum came along when they did as they have both taken my mind off the rubbish in my life and given me something else to focus on - does that make sense?
Well, just to let you know that the vaping party went pretty good! 6 cans off beer, a bottle of wine, and 7 juices tested. I liked them all, but hubbs only liked the tobacco flavoured ones.......
That leaves the Pina Colada and Aftershock ones purely for me! I love the Aftershock.
Toomorrow is another day, and hubbs is taking his little riva friend to work with him for the first time. Bless him, he is panicking about leaving his roll-ups at home!
Catch you all tomorrow - I cooked a chilli tonight with fresh chillies, and I have flaming well just rubbed me eyes!!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi jaki,
yes, good point - drinking more water = dampening of the appetite so to speak.
Hubbs and I are so enthusiastic about vaping - he has converted a woman at work and has given her a cloud9 business card, and I am in the process of converting my son and my brother.
I am on a vaping mission lol!!
We cleaned the car last weekend, and it is fandabbydozy that it doesn't stink of stale cigs and the ashtray is now used for loose change!
Why oh why did I not follow up on the vaping thread on the ebay Q&A board AGES ago......
But I'm here now. xx

Well hello everyone - again!
What lovely support this forum is turning out to be..........
I am absolutely loving this vaping malarky! My titanium Riva is gorgeous, and hubby now has the black one.
We have 90ml of different juices between us, and tonight we are having a vaping party - just me, him, a couple of bottles of wine and a dozen cans of beer. We are going to try EVERY juice that we have, of which we have 12 different ones, so we will be well vaped out!
Just a couple of moot points -
1, loss of appetite? Is that normal? I'm not complaining mind you, as I need to lose weight - and one of the reasons for carrying on smoking was the fear of putting on weight.......
2, Is it normal to be more thirsty? I am drinking much more water.......
3, Sleeping so much better!!!!

Lisa _ you are a complete 100% star and I really do appreciate very prompt refund as it has now enabled me to buy more from you! I am just in the middle of sorting out an order of carts, atties (hark at me getting all down and groovy lol!) and thingmyjigs......xx
Hubby and I have shared the black Riva ALL weekend with only a couple of relapses (by Him I may add due to the excitement of the World Cup final) and we are really pleased with our selves.
I now have 80mls of various juices, blue foam, pipettes and tweezers, all from the lovely James.
Just need to order some extra atties, and wait for my titanium riva to arrive and there will be no stopping me (us).
Anything else I may need please feel free to point me in the right direction....... xx

Just to let you know that I have been refunded for the over-payment - thank you Chrissie for the nudge, and thank you everyone at cloud9! Brilliant customer service x
Hubby and I took 14 month old grandson to the local pub tonight - they have a super beer garden.....and we only took the e-cig with us. We went at 6pm and was home by 7.15pm - and we never missed the cigs once! Now 1 hour 15 mins may not sound long, but for us that was a huge leap of faith for the e-cig.
We are both feeling very chuffed (pardon the pun) at the moment.
xx

Hiya Dee, and thank you for the welcome.
Which e-cig did you invest in, Dee?
I've got the Riva and I must say that I am very impressed with - although I obviously have nowt else to compare it to, which methinks is a blessing!
