Managing a pub is hard work, but also fun. I am so made up about this job. The pub closed down and until I take it on Monday it has been under relief management, it only reopened 5 were ago!ei I have a blank canvas, a really rare opportunity to make this pub how I want it to be, within the owners parameters. The package is fantastic, 20k salary, free accommodation, free gas, electricity, water, sky TV, WiFi, I only have to pay council tax. This really Is a dream come true. Got to be honest, I'm still pinching myself! All you people who have wished me well have humbled me, thankyou all for the kind wishes and comments gill2009 your angel worked You so deserve it Paul prr ... do you need a chef?... I can boil an egg, but getting the toast out at the same time could be a problem |

I live next to the Severn Railway...thats seriously busy retro steam! www.svr.co.uk/They used to bring the blood and custard carriages/engines in by road some years back...some road corners were pretty scary. British Railways’ use of Crimson Lake and Cream (CLC) for its passenger carrying stock and the locomotives that hauled that stock; a colour combination quickly nicknamed ‘Blood and Custard’ livery. For many, ‘Blood and Custard’ was a fine combination of colours and was particularly suited to the new Mk1 stock. Apt for a vape flavour?  Those were the colours of my Hornby train set when I was a kid... wish I still had it now |

That is awful joeten ... I'm going back to the 60s/70s in a village down south, where life was peaceful, and I wish everyone else could experience it, but I fear it is long gone.  I'm so lucky Raffles , where I live, life is very peaceful. All of my neighbours are not just neighbours, but friends. I also wish everyone could experience the same So true Chrissie but I doubt there are many places that can still say the same. My Uncle used to run the pub, and it was a few hundred yards from where I finished work, so a very popular 'watering hole'. I also struck up a 'relationship' there with a previous school friend, who'd married, and we were the 'talk of the town' when one of our vehicles were still in the car park in the morning. Why am I telling you this |

I spend some time browsing Facebook don't post much and also post on a computer forum, I 'am better of not being down the pub as the ones round here are rough, ask for a pint as a first timer and they give the local hospital number with your change, LOL.
