I got mine today as well....but Iv'e got a horrible taint to the flavour. I think it's oil from the machining, because when I opened the top cap a lot of liquid came out, which smelled like oil to me. I cleaned it in hot water with a little bit of washing up liquid then I dried it and used an alcohol wipe and rinsed it again, but the taste is still there. I didn't actually submerge the base in water as I wasn't sure if that would be O.K? I'm trying to vape through it, but the oily taste has not gone away yet, after a couple of hours vaping. Anyone have any suggestions? It's stainless steel so submerging it in washing up liquid won't harm it. If that doesn't do it, isopropyl alcohol should do the job.

I also bought some blue glass bottles, not for any other reason than that they look pretty. Sometimes I think I'm a little too in touch with my feminine side. I'm so pleased you succumbed to the lure of those blue glass bottles Moonie. I couldn't help myself, they looked lovely on their site and I'll try to find a use for them. I wanted some glass dropper bottles with pipettes in blue as well but they didn't have the sizes I wanted, which was most disappointing, so I had to get amber ones instead. I'll have to take the pics on my worktop when they arrive as my windowsill isn't big enough for everything, but hey ho.

Something I hadn't though of though - although you don't need to rinse Milton sterilised kit (unlike most other sterilisers) it may be wise to do so. I shouldn't think it vapes very well Message received and understood.

Moon, get thee to Boots and buy some Milton sterilising fluid. You don't need anything else (like a sterilising unit). Make up a jug full at the recommended strength, fill bottles, screw cap on, leave for two hours or til you want to fill them, empty out. Another possible (and cheaper) method would be to fill about a quarter full with water and microwave for a couple of minutes then leave them in the microwave to cool. Don't put the caps on though or they'll go bang. Splendid, I'll give the fluid a go I reckon. Cheers.

I've got me a load of amber glass bottles from Ampulla (pics to come as promised, Perps) and wondered how to sterilise them.
I haven't got any babies, so no sterilising equipment, although I do have a steam cleaner.
Will this do the job?

Will dropping to ,20 have a similar effect? No, it'll have the opposite effect. You want thicker wire if you want to lower the resistance.

I'm still a bit of a dripping virgin, and haven't really used my Igos beyond a couple of taste sessions.
Pretty much use Novas or my Aga Ts.

Cartos are a tool of the devil. Most newbies start vaping with carto's in some form So did I, which is how I know they were created by the devil.

Judging by the thread title I thought you were going to tell us to start using pre-filled cartos on a screwdriver.
Cartos are a tool of the devil.
Novas are bang on in my experience, never managed to crack a tank despite chucking various supposedly dodgy juice in them.
I think it's very much horses for courses as far as juices are concerned though, and some will taste better in cartos, others in clearos and others gennies.
As to why this should be I have absolutely no idea, but I'm sure there's a scientific reason for it.

Based on amount of nicotine consumed, I reckon I'm on the equivalent of about 200 fags a day.
It tastes nicer though.

Sorry Moon, I should edit that but i just couldnt fit so many words in at the top which is why i explained more at the bottom. Hi Fagin, it's always been that price, what matters is what price we sell it at currently though I guess, wouldn't be able to promote a sale if it was always £30 please also consider customs charges, shipping, tax and all sorts, We mainly try and do great deals on e-liquid, the kits cost us a lot more than it does other vendors as we cant do huge bulk buying like some can. Cheers Aaron That's better. I'll get on and order a battery and juices for my sister as she would appear to be incapable of doing it for herself. As for the £60 on that kit, it looks to be on a par with the small vendor that I bought my original kit from, and £30 makes it significantly cheaper, so a decent deal in my book.
