Yes moon I've used it and it's not a bad device for out and about! I read a thread a few months ago, someone's charger had broken so they used their Joytech Ego mod to charge their 18650 battery as you can charge the battery in these mods through a usb while still in the device For the price they're good and you can buy different colour tubes to match your outfit There's a good review on the review board about them by Dave It's the tube colour changes I quite like as I do like to be co-ordinated. I'll check out the review, cheers.

It's not what you spend, but what you save I think You know that's not true. I'll be buying stuff I don't need, and not even sure when I'll use it. What's your thoughts on those Ego tubes and controllers you have? They're only a tenner, and I quite like the idea for... I'm not sure what, but with regulated voltage and a low res coil they might be handy for out and about. Anyway, have you used yours at all?

Excellent, been wanting a few bits and bobs for ages.
Can't get on the site for some reason, but I'm sure persistence will get me there eventually.

@ Robby, is that the VAMO from china on the other thread? £20 shipped and buy batteries and a charger from the UK. I suppose there are hunners of places to get VAMO batteries and chargers from vendors on this forum... @ DJ, I was looking at a mini or maxi LT, how much are the batteries and a charger for them? I'm thinking about getting the Ego twist initially as my funds are low ATM but keep swithering due to the fact that for about another 10-15 quid I can get a bigger and better (are LT's and VAMO's really THAT (OMG) much better?) shiny.. Cheers C If you get a Twist for £20, then that's your battery. When it's run down, you have to recharge it, leaving you no battery. The alternative is that you buy another Twist to use while the other's charging, so that's another £20. When the battery on your Vamo is run down, you put another battery in it which has cost £8, whose life expectancy is much greater than a Twist and which you can use in other devices in future should you buy any.

It depends upon whether you want something small like a Twist, or whether you're prepared to carry around something that looks like a truncheon.
I don't think it's possible to dislike vv or vw, as it's it's so much easier to get what you want vapewise, so IMO the "to see if you like it" argument is moot. The Twist will however do a great job.
However, if you don't mind bigger mods then with the current price of things like the Vamo, CV1 and Zmax I'd be tempted to jump straight in and go for one of those instead.
Initial outlay is more, especially if you include the batteries and charger, but a decent charger will last years, which means you're only replacing the batteries in future, and at £6-£10 a pop it's cheaper than buying a new Twist at £18-£20.

Using mine now with hotspring fitted , mucho better, the spring was a mega weak link. Just got some hot springs today and it's made a huge difference. Gone is the irritating switch off every time I move and the battery shifts, and the battery cutoff has gone down to 3.2v from 3.7v which is great.

Can I buy it of you please?? I've met and dealt with mixtrix and can vouch for him. He's a genuine lad. Not everyone knows of this place but if they see a post on another forum about something being sold here, what are they supposed to do? Maybe I'm a bit oldskool, but I view classifieds on a forum as a perk of the forum, whereby contributing members of that 'community' have a chance to buy and sell items.

Someone who knows more will probably explain why, but I do notice it mentioned a lot on this forum that it's better not to buy ***fire batteries. Primarily because the capacity is never what is claimed. The cheeky monkeys. www.dampfakkus.de/liste_akkus.php

I used the drillbit method the other day, but with a syringe needle.
Coiled 4/3 with 0.2 (1.5 ohms), slotted needle into slots and connected the wires, then pulled the needle out and heated the coils a few times before twisting a cotton wool pad wick through.
I like my cotton wool pad wicks, they're great.
