Well my GDPT has arrived at the speed of light ! - looks very good - but doesn't work on my mains USB plug adaptor (rated 0.5A so I guess thats not enough). An order for that USB hub will be on its way shortly...

Snips had connections with a Free spin off band - racking brain for the bands name. All I can think of is Tumbling dice, but that's the name of a Stones song. Only spin off from Free I can think of is Bad Company - fronted by Rodgers. I'm getting the hang of this YouTube embedding now- Who remembers 1985: & And of course the all-time classic: Apologies if this is all a bit raucous for some - hee's a quieter one:

Who's heard of Colin Blunstone...

My favourite from the early 70's:
If that works... more to follow...

I missed out on Sandy Denny first time round (just !!) - but recently "discovered" her on Youtube: (and folk music isn't my usual thing).
Another version when she was with Fairport:
How anybody could write and perform that at just 19 is beyond me.

And, another thing that gives me the pip whilst I'm having a soap box moment, is the way the 'cost' of treating smoking related illnesses is broadcast at every available opportunity, how much in taxes have smokers paid for any treatment received. > Absolutely right perpetua - and don't forget if you buy life insurance, if you say you are a smoker you will pay much more (because they assume you will die younger) - yet if you buy a pension - you don't get a discount !!

They could have given me a year's supply of patches and I still would have smoked.
Forty quid for a Tornado and I have quit.

1. I have quite a few atomisers that still work, but don't seem to produce much vapour anymore. Instead of throwing them away, it occurred to me that they would be useful on a higher voltage (I use a Tornado at 3.7V). Is there a low cost device available that will give a higher voltage?
2. Recently bought an LR 510 atomiser to try - but found as soon as I tried to use it with a Tornado cart. the cart started to melt (not pleasant !) I did align it as best I could, but looking inside the cart, the mesh (below the bridge) looks higher than a std 510 atomiser. I've had problems with carts melting before, but getting the alignment right seemed to prevent it. In this case its the outside of the flat edge which has melted. I think the tornado carts would be better if they didn't have the flat edge but I guess there must be a reason for it. Has anybody used 510 LR's with a Tornado?

Hmmm, not heard my favourite Christmas song being played much this year? Chrissie you obviously haven't been watching Spotlight - a version of it was played on there recently- www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00ctjb9The girl singer is called Ellie Williams and is a singer/songwriter from Exeter and has a superb voice - FTONY isn't her usual style - if anyone has the time checkout her solo pieces at 16 minutes and 25 minutes on that video. Her version of Wintersong is the best I've ever heard. Edited to add - have yourselves a merry little Christmas everyone

I had a look their forum using the link posted earlier - I saw a thread where somebody was complaining about the taste/smell of their Titan fluid - I bought some of it recently and have to agree - it is horrible - have now ditched it. LnB from James for me from now on.

I ordered some LnB from James late on Thursday.
I'm about as far away from James as you can get (any further and you'd be swimming).
But my package arrived safely today (Monday).
Now I don't usually feel the need to praise sellers for good service - as good service should be standard.
However in this case I think some praise is very deserved. Along with the LnB, I received a very useful free gift, nicely wrapped in Christmas paper. Not only that - inside the gift were 2 extra sample size bottles of juice.
As for the LnB - first time I've tried it - and its probably the best flavour I've bought so far.
Just one thing to add - I suspect that James' better half did the wrapping - no man can wrap that neatly.....
