Forgot to mention - I use the blue foam which seems to last much longer between top-ups.

I seem to be getting the same at the moment - although in my case I think its probably the atomiser. I'm reluctant to change it as I seem to have got through a few recently - they still work but don't seem to have much effect.
Not had any problem with the Tornado batteries cutting out though (yet !)
13 weeks weed-free - but right now I could kill for a fag !!

I've been trying to order from OK Smokey, but when I try to login the site isn't accepting my (stored) password. I've requested a new password (several times) - no reponse. Also tried to contact them using the form - again no response.
Tried to ring them today but no answer.
Has anybody bought from them recently?

MM - it could be that you have turned off the toolbars by accident, or possibly you are running full screen.
If its fullscreen, then you can get easily everything back by pressing the F11 key on your keyboard. This acts like a toggle, so if it doesn't cure the fault press F11 again. I don't think this is the problem as restarting FF would get you back to normal.
If you have lost the toolbars, then you can get them back by doing this:-
Press and hold the Alt key, then the V key. This will give you the view menu in a box at the top of your screen. "Toolbars" should be highlighted in blue.
Then use the right arrow key (or mouse) to bring up the box with the toolbar options. Select the menu bar, navigation toolbar and bookmarks toolbar (they should all have a tick against them) and you should be back to normal.
(Once you get the menu bar back you can just use the mouse to click "View" "Toolbars").
Hope I have explained it clearly - its easier to do than to explain.

Can anybody use the discount code mentioned above?
I bought a few bits last week when they had the fixed 25% "one-day only" offer - not sure I like this ongoing varying discount thing - I'd sooner they just kept their prices at a reasonable level all the time - obviously their "normal" prices must have a very big profit margin.

Malwarebytes is a good tool - the free version is the one to get, no need to pay for any of these sorts of tools..
This PC support phone scam must be getting more common - there is even a thread about it on the eBay PS board !

MM - this is quite a widespread scam - but the way they get their money is by conning people to pay for a service that is not needed. As long as you didn't give them any card or payment details, you should be fine. This link gives some details: www.guardian.co.uk/technology/blog/2010/jul/20/phone-calls-india-scamsQuote:- the people who are doing this have never, in any of the many, many examples that I've seen, installed malware on anyone's machine; But as you probably know now - you should never give any details to anybody who cold-calls. Unfortunately these scammers often get given contact details by rogue individuals in real call centres, which is how they already know that you may have a PC problem. This makes them more believable.

One thing to watch out for, if the Riva is the same as the tornado, is a problem I sometimes get with the carts melting - if that happens you will know as its really nasty !!
Below is what I posted a while back:
"Well I think I may have found the cause of the burning plastic taste.... it's plastic burning.... !
The end of the tornado carts have 2 flats, giving a sort of oval shape rather than round. Also looking into the atomiser, the element is a rectangle shape, in plan view.
So unless the cart is correctly aligned, the flat part of the plastic can touch the atomiser. The most recent cart I have been using has definitely melted very slightly in a couple of places (slight "dents" right on the end), and I know it was perfectly smooth before using.
I've found that if I align the wider part of the cart end with the wider part of the element, then I don't get the really bad burning plastic taste. Just got it once today, when I forgot to align it.
(I do get a slight plastic/bitter taste if the cart gets a bit dry, but from some of the posts above that's normal, and its nothing like as bad as before."
If its just a slight burnt plastic taste without a nasty burning throat, then as others have said its probably just a dry cart - I find with standard carts you really need to top up with a couple of drops after just a few drags.

Just a little warning - I clicked on one of the banners - which took me to the banner site. Then out of curiosity I clicked on the smokewithoutfire shop link at top right - my Kaspersky anti-virus denied access, reporting that the site was infected with a trojan.
It could be a false alert, but probably best to avoid.
Loading the banner itself didn't seem to cause any probs.

Ordered some blue foam from James recently - just got around to trying it out.
Being a bit of a cynic... I wasn't expecting it to be a lot different to the standard stuff supplied in carts - how wrong could I be !
This stuff is great - it seems to wick much better so seems to last about 3 or 4 times longer in between topping up.
I've been struggling with carts lately so had resorted to a drip-tip (which I don't really like) - but now back on the carts and vaping like a trooper !!
Just one question - how do others use it? - initially I cut a piece twice as long as the cart length, and folded it. That didn't seem to work so well, now I just have a single piece about the same size as the original filler.

I think I'm in a similar boat to Kos - now 6 weeks since a real cig but recently struggling a bit. Its not that I particularly want a real cig but vaping is not enjoyable at the moment.
Flavours I used to like now taste bland or even unpleasant. Recently I'm finding that I don't even like the feel of the cart in my mouth (strange because that was never an issue originally). I've got a drip tip so am using that more, although they are a pain - I end up removing it to top up.
Hopefully this is a temporary phase. One thing that keeps me going is that, despite spending a lot in the TECC sale, I am now in profit and that will go on increasing.
Good luck kos - hope you can keep off the evil weed.

Scylla - that was probably Sarum by Edward Rutherfurd - a novel about Salisbury from the year dot to present day. A big chunk of it was about the building of the cathedral.

I hope Lisa comes back - I always found her posts informative.
I've only had one order with Cloud 9, but the products and service were excellent.
As an Ebay seller myself I know how difficult it is to pitch the postage costs correctly, especially with multiple purchases and international sales. I once lost TRS for a month because one buyer felt that 80 pence was excessive for P&P (3 items combined, sent 1st class large letter + jiffy etc). It cost me £40 in lost discounts for that month.
