I missed out on Sandy Denny first time round (just !!) - but recently "discovered" her on Youtube: (and folk music isn't my usual thing).
Another version when she was with Fairport:
How anybody could write and perform that at just 19 is beyond me.

Stan, she had such a spine tingling voice! Was lucky enough to catch her in concert when she was a member of Fairport Convention, many years ago I do have a love of folk music, mainly conventional but also like some trad. Used to run a folk club many years back & helped out running several in the Brighton area. I also love blues & some old time heavy rock Edit, Oops, will eventually get the vid links right

My favourite from the early 70's:

Michael Chapman used to live in a student let opposite my parents house before he was famous When he moved out a guy called Snips moved in (he was my gay friend Tony's partner at the time). Snips had connections with a Free spin off band - racking brain for the bands name. All I can think of is Tumbling dice, but that's the name of a Stones song.

Only spin off from Free I can think of is Bad Company - fronted by Rodgers. I'm getting the hang of this YouTube embedding now- Who remembers 1985: & And of course the all-time classic: Apologies if this is all a bit raucous for some - hee's a quieter one:

All Right Now is one of my all-time faves. But I can't say I like a particular band or music genre, just certain bits of all sorts that hit the right cerebral spot. I do like nearly everything Jefferson Airplane did though. scylla

Some excellent vids there Stan Perpy, to embed a you-tube vid, click on reply (rather than quick reply). C&P your chosen you-tube link into the reply box, highlight the link & then click on the red "tube" tab in "add tags".
