Thanks to lush for a rather generous chunk of Sera wool it's a great improvement, with no dry hits, and been going for a good few hours so far on a fill. With a bit of experimenting over the weekend with wicks and coils I think it will be a winner.

I think they used to hold their value more before everything was cloned.
So non cloned mods, like Microsticks and Spheroids seem to fare best.

Easiest to get the one from Vapingthings for £15 with free postage. www.vapingthings.com/-PHOENIX_SS_REBUILDABLE_ATOMISER/p1311952_7880563.aspxTha Vapingthings one is probably the most suitable for modding as it takes air in the bottom and up through the coil, which you can build below the top of the posts. A lot of similar ones have air holes in the sides, and the coils higher, so they'll interfere with any filler.

My main vapes are Touchwoods with genesis atties but for driving, cycling and general outdoors stuff I use a Sentinel mod with either Boges or Evods but I wanted something rebuildable portable and fairly tough. Like a lot of people, I want to try a Spheroid, and like a lot of people I don't have a lot of money. So like a lot of people I've been hunting a cheap second hand one, and like a lot of people, not finding one, or dithering because even the ones that do come up are expensive. So I looked at alternatives, like this allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/36494/dream-spheroid?page=1&scrollTo=636178 but I have a Hero Hybrid (the atty bit is basically a Dream), and whilst I managed to get it to work ok, I'm not a big fan of using pins to hold the coil. The A7 Oid looks like a decent option to convert an A7 atty (Phoenix) but can't find any in stock in the UK and postage from the US doubles the price (anyone interested in a group buy?) So I carried on Googling, and found the Todd Oid. Basically take the air tube from a Protank or Evod head, shorten it, force it into a plastic drip tip, pack the Phoenix out with wadding and away you go. Made one tonight and it actually works rather well. Some wicking issues, but I am just using the old microcoil and silica wick I was using for dripping, and I don't have any Sera wool or Juwel pads so I just stuffed cotton wool inside. Will get some decent wadding next week and play some more but at £15 plus some random bits, it looks good, is cheap, and the Phoenix is a great little dripping atty, so once with a bit of fiddling I have no doubt it will be a great vape. Compared to the RSST it is a far more sensible portable size. TL/DR version This And this Thanks Todd.

And stick a picture up. Expensive bit of kit. I wouldn't consider it without seeing it first.

The cold calls are easy to stop. Unplug the phone. I have a connection for internet, but haven't had a phone for years. The only thing I miss is abusing the cold callers. Now I have to wait for Jehovahs Witnesses to knock on the door. I would happily Fagin, unfortunately it's the only way that my elderly parents who live a fair distant from me, have of getting in contact. In their mid eighties, I need to be contactable at all times. So I'm rather stuck with a landline, as they won't do mobile phones . . . or have any form of modern technology, which includes an ansaphone. That is a problem. Mine are in their 80s as well, and in South Africa, but fortunately have cell phones and internet, so it's easy. Having a company cell phone also helps - all free.

Get a Nitecore, Efest or Xtar from a reputable dealer.

I get a minimum of one of these everyday, along with suspended bank account versions. Me to . . . along with wretched overseas ' cold calls ' which the TPS doesn't eliminate. The cold calls are easy to stop. Unplug the phone. I have a connection for internet, but haven't had a phone for years. The only thing I miss is abusing the cold callers. He could try Boges for a while. As long as they're filled properly they're pretty much foolproof.

SS atty into aluminium head ...... My rsst got stuck in one of my sentinel heads, and took a pair of rubber gloves to remove. Got an airflow controller stuck on the other head, and totally can not shift it fred really like sentinels its my first mod and that trident happens to be my first RDA as well I have one I use out and about, works great but it's solid brass, really heavy, and I think could withstand a nuclear holocaust - all that will be left are cockroaches and my Sentinel.

A couple of pairs of pliers or vice grips and some rubber or something to protect it.

Nothing much anyone can do as he hasn't logged on since early February. Not much money, but annoying.
