Hi all,
So happy that I have managed to convert 3 friends and my parents so far to vaping, on a bit of a mission lol. My best friend is having some trouble. He is constantly getting flooded tanks and leaking problems. He has tried a few tanks including evod, mt3 and now a protank mini 2. All of which are giving him the same problem. I have an evod and mini protank but have had no problems.
Anyone any ideas? Is it something he's doing wrong?
cheers in advance Tom

Do you know what ratio juice he's using? Bottom-coil tanks tend to not like thin & runny (ie PG-heavy) juices

In that case all I can think is that he hasn't got the various bits of the tank screwed together tight enough, particularly the head into the base?

Vaping style - trying to vape like he smoked, so relatively short hard draws resulting in too much juice being pulled over the wick to fast to vapourise it = flooding, & ever successive draw, specially if he's getting frustrated is just making matters worse.
Also if he is flooding the coils there's ever chance that there's leaking down into the battery connection & a lot of folks don't realise how little, or even that juice in the connection can make things gurgley.

In my experience, those Kanger bottom coil clearos like to be kept upright and don't take well to being jiggled around in a pocket or similar. I'm not sure if that is an issue for your friend, or indeed for you.
My advice would be to try one of the Innokin iclear30S's, it's thirsty but doesn't have anywhere near as many gurgling issues.

He could try Boges for a while. As long as they're filled properly they're pretty much foolproof.

There are things we *know* and things made up to please inquisitive minds on Vaping forums.
We know that buying another BCC after another is going to be a disaster for some users, for a variety of reasons. (Thickness of juice, agitation of the tank, vaping style).
The only sensible course of action is to either move to a different type (top coil, carto tank) or resolve the issue by discovering a work-around.
For example, a smok ARO needs twice as much wick to not gurgle and leak (everywhere). Works every time. A clearo which hits "dry" too often may need a flavour wick taking out.
Frustrating, but that's the way the cookie seems to crumble.

Follow the guide on here to recoil them with cotton, I found that worked for the most part, stopped the leaking anyway. No leaks from 80/20 pg/vg mix either.
