You're very welcome Greendollar. It's ready to go...just have to pop down to the post office tomorrow. With any luck you should have it early next week. You'll need a scissors to unwrap it. I was heavy on the sticky tape and wrapping because one of my bottles leaked and I can still smell it in the hall.

Ok then. I won't bother with the trial run. I'm hoping that mixing ejuice will be a lot different to my attempts at baking a cake.

I have nicotine base, pg liquid, vg liquid, various tobacco flavours and a honey flavour from Postmodernsmoking and Liberty Flights (both of whom I will definitely buy from again). Would the honey do for a sweetener?

Not only do I forgive you for saying, I'm very appreciative that you even bother to read my rants. Constructive comments are a bonus. It will take me a very long time to use 2 x 100 ml bottles of 54mg nic base, so I thought I would divide it into maybe 4 x 30 ml glass bottles. Is that a bit OTT?

Frogster: I went ahead an ordered the Vape Wizard from Flavour Arts (the link provided by Perpetua). I do appreciate that you would have been doing me a favour but there's no point depleting your stocks. I'm going to have to get used to ordering future supplies from them so I may as well get used to it.

Dizzi: I have some stevia on the way - I think it's coming from Argentina. Please don't even think of sending me anything yet because I might never receive the Capella order. I received an email from them saying my order was in progress and then another email saying they couldn't print the address label because I didn't give them a post code. I have this problem all the time because I don't have a post code and it can be a real nuisance entering dots, dashes, zeroes, Irl, or whatever the company's database will accept. Usually, I receive the order once I get past the paying stage, but it looks like Capella's printer can't cope. I did contact their customer service but just got an automated response, so I'm not holding my breath whilst awaiting delivery.

Greendollar: Don't bother about the Vanilla Custard. Even if the stuff does arrive from Capella, I might never use it. I'm just going to mix tobacco flavours and sweeten them with whatever. I won't ever be an ejuice connoisseur. The more I read about DIY the more I think I must have been crazy to attempt it. If I hadn't already paid for most of the igredients, I'd give it a miss altogether. The more I read the more I get the same sinking feeling I had in school cookery classes. All I need now is for some recipe to say "mix to a dropping consistency" and I'll flush the lot down the loo. No doubt there's some hazardous waste law about disposing of nicotine and I won't even be able to get rid of the stuff.

On a positive note, I received an email from the Dulce de Leche vendors saying my order had been shipped so I'm confident of receiving that soon and I'll be glad to offload some of it on Dizzi and Greendollar.

Dizzi: The straightforward swap is fine. I don't want the hassle of fiddling about with money. I'm also in Ireland, which means the postage will be higher than you bargained for. I'm not optimistic that my Capella order will arrive anytime soon.......according to my order status it hasn't even shipped yet and there's bound to be delays so close to Christmas. The D de L should arrive tomorrow or Monday. If there's no sign of the Capella order having been shipped I can send you a couple of D de L next week and will send the Vanilla Custard when/if it arrives.

Greendollar and Perpetua: How important is the Vape Wizard stuff? A couple of American sites have it in stock but the vendors selling smaller quantities don't ship overseas. If it's really essential, I have family in the States that I could have it shipped to and they could forward it on to me. Don't want to do that unless it's absolutely necessary.

Dizzi: I placed my order with Capella after all, including an extra 13ml of Vanilla Custard for you. There was a problem about shipping from Cupcake World so I opted for Capella's easier ordering system.

I'll send you the D de L along with the Vanilla Custard. Swapping them for the Liqua Tobacco is a good idea. I'll let you know when my supplies arrive......hopefully it won't take too long.

Perpetua: The flavours I ordered from Capella are much the same selection as those on my Cupcake World list. Are the Capella flavours stronger than Cupcake World?
