I actually prefer the bottom fill.
I use subtann minis and just grip the base and twist the top off leaving the base of the tank on the mod so threads are not an issue.
Plus top fill means I have to empty the tank to get the the rba deck or change the coil. Which is a pain.

Innokin Coolfire IV 40W might be a nice alternative. Only saying that 'cos I have the iStick 30W and the Coolfire... I have the Coolfire 4 and iStick 40w. The Coolfore looks beautiful but I personally prefer the iStick 40w. That said, I'd buy either again in a heart beat.

so i need the 30w one then? Minimum. Best decide what tank you fancy then go with a mod that will take coils of that resistance. I've used the subtank mini 0.5ohm heads with the 40w iStick and the iSub G (cracking vape for stock coils - really impressed me) on the 50w iStick.

I think its only 20w, will this handle sub ohm? No. It will only read coils that are 1ohm or above so no good for sub ohm.

I didn't rate those droppers to be honest. Juice tasted totally different in them then they did in my tanks. And after trying two iquids (or one if its a mint/aniseed type) you have to clean and leave to dry (I did anyway).
So before I got into rebuildables I took to using a small protank with a naturevape type head (I got them from Cammy on UKV). Then just. Dry burn and rewick. The coils lasted months and I had the benefit of knowing the juice would taste the same in my day to day tank.

I've heard great things about the Derringer. Not true done yet but there's a few clones on eBay for £10.
Supposed to be great for flavour. Tiny too.

Jerri it might be worth getting some MTS vape wizard and adding a few drops to your eliquid. I add 2% to all my tobacco mixes and it really smooths out any harshness. Thanks. Will remember that for future. I sold the liquid this morning. Pity as it taste lovely but not worth a sore throat.

I have tried out a few custard flavours, but settled on the Isle of Custards range. Big plus, is that as I am a local he often delivers out my way so I can sometimes get my juices hand delivered, plus I reckon that 100ml of juce for about £20 is pretty good too, but only bought the 30ml's so far. But, since they are a local supplier, I like to support them, but they seem to be doing quite well with their juices, so that's good.. The iSub I have (the pc tank) is one that I love, and want to get the iSub G, purely because of the pyrex tank, not that I have had any problems with the plastic one - so far. But, with my current back problem (which I have not had for many years) I get a sort of metalic taste and am wondering if it is these strong pain killers I am taking have anything to do with it. It also means that my taste buds are a bit shot, so many of my favourites and now tainted and don't taste quite as nice as they used to, which is annoying the heck out of me.... I've tried a few of them myself. The plain vanilla custard which I'm currently vaping. The apple pie and custard and the custard doughnut. I've just ordered 100ml of the custard doughnut. The cutlass custard is nice but my usual is daredevils custard and it's around £10 less delivered than the cutlass so whilst cutlass is nice it's not better than daredevils and not worth £10 more. The custard doughnut is absolutely stunning though. I can only conclude it is the nic in the ace of vapes yoda babies. But I'm reluctant to shell out more on 0 nic just in case it's not and because I've just dropped to 3mg and stocked up on 3mg liquid. I don't want to start using 0mg and have all the 3mg then make me dizzy as happened with the 6mg when I got some 3mg.

Great bargain there Jerri, shame you couldn't find a successful way to vape them I'm brassic at the moment otherwise I would take them as I am looking to mix at a maximum of 6mg now due to sub-ohming! GLWS Thank you! Gutted to be honest. Especially about the yoda babies as it's seriously lovely but not worth making myself feel like I've just smoked 60 l&b.

Looking to sell as these are just to harsh on my throat for some reason.
2 x 30ml bottle Ace of Vapes. Yoda babies. 80/20 (VG/PG). 3mg nic. One Untouched. One has around 3-4ml gone.
Tit sauce raspberry milkshake. 50ml. 50/50 3mg. 1-2ml gone.
10ml of Tit sauce blue slush. 50/50 3mg. Few drops gone.
RRP is £10 for each bottle. Besides the blue slush which is £3
I've also got 5 Raw Vapes 10ml liquids I'll throw in for free. Since nobody was interested in a trade. They're 50/50 and 3mg. Raspberry custard. Blueberry custard. Vimto. Pink lemonade and Raspberry menthol. All have a few drops gone besides the pink lemonade which is untouched. And I'll throw in 20ml (roughly) of Digbys Dr Jyekll 6mg Pointless them just being binned. And I won't use them.
Total there's a total of 190(ish)ml eliquid there.
I'm looking for £27 plus p&p open to sensible offers though.
I'd be happy to split if the buyer was happy to pay p&p.

Well. I thought I had it cracked with the OC coil but the longer I vaped the more the harshness came back.
I currently feel like I've just gone on a bender and smoked 40 stinkies. You know that morning after the night before when you'd got trashed and smoked way way too many. Then woke up with a scratchy throat. That's what I feel like after two hours.
Sad because the liquid is absolutely lush but there's not much I can do.

If you can rebuild an occ @jerri I'd say you should be able to manage an Isub coil, its a piece of cake once you get in to it. That's the trickiest bit as they are press fitted together. Simplest way I've found to do it is to get two smallish but strong screwdrivers, one that will fit through the wick holes and one that will fit through the air slot at the bottom. Then just work them in opposite directions whilst giving a little wiggle and it will pop apart. To get it together again just get it all lined up and apply pressure with something solid. I might try and get it together to write a little guide at some point with pics as you get a great vape off these tanks and a bonus that the heads CAN be rebuilt if you put your mind to it. Don't want to be responsible for you shelling out on another new tank but... Just giving you the info since I was tagged in. You must resist.... RESIST.. .lol I will have to resist for now haha. In the past 6 weeks I've bought a smok m80, a lemo 2, cool fire 4, 40w iStick and two subtank minis plus about £80 of juice. In my defence before that is not bought any new vape gear since last year. I hadn't even heard of the iSub G to be honest but hermans in Liverpool were using them as tester tanks and I was really really impressed by the vape quality. Thanks for the info I appreciate it.

The liquid now taste absolutely lovely on the OC coil at 23 watts. No harshness. No dryness.
What madness is this!!!

I don't think it's the wicking material Jerri. Custards seem, to me, to like lower watts. So the higher ohms would give you that. Maybe you need to lower the ohms to enjoy fruits. Most juice has an optimum temperature, fruits work well hot, custards lower in my experience. Yeah I always found custard to me taste better at lower watts. I don't think I have the right wire to make a sub ohm coil. .32 kanthal and I have the 2.5 and 3mm coil jigs. I do 6/7 wraps around the 3mm and get roughly 1.4ohms. Still I don't mind buying a pack of the 0.5ohm OC coils to save messing about.
