I've just managed to re-coil one of my vision v3's and it works great. comes in at around 1.8ohms which is what I was aiming for. the only problem is I missed off the collar that goes around the coil. it's working ok without it but I'm not sure if it's needed or indeed what it is there for.
any more experienced folk know the answers?

Yeah they are pretty easy, but also a bit fiddly. They have two little holes where you thread your wire through, can be a pain if you have bad eyesight. I have just wrapped the wire around the screw then trapped it down. Works fine. I've got reading glasses but might get one if those magnifying clamp things if I struggle. I'll have to dig out some tiny screwdrivers too I guess?

I'm after a dripping atty at the moment. they look a bit big to me but I'll happily be corrected.

The meter will be OK, just remember that the meter itself will have a resistance of anywhere between .4 - .8 ohms. To find this you need to touch the probes together and whatever number appears on the screen needs to be subtracted from the reading it gives when you test your coil. Cool, thanks for the help. roll on the weekend so I can have a mess about

Agreed, it looks very straight forward. It also looks like a dripping attie going by the pic Yeah, it's for dripping

looking at them i would say they are one of the easier rebuildables Cool, like I say I'm not scared to take things apart I just don't want to jump in at the really deep end. Will that meter give me accurate resistance at such low ohms?

got a couple of v3's delivered yesterday and I'm liking them so far. I'm finding that I don't have to vape and vape to feel satisfied. the amount of vapour, taste and throat hit is much better. (apart from the black cat lol)

I've tried it again in a vision v3 clearo......still the same??? hardly any exhale vapour. very odd indeed. after trying 3 different methods. and leaving it to stand for a week. there's not much left in the 5ml bottle so I'll probably just drip it every now and again just for the flavour
