I remember once I was building a PC for a mate and he was chatting my head off as well as in a rush to get it up and running.
I accentually didn't insert one of the memory strips fully and when I switched it on, there was a really loud electronic buzzing noise, followed by a blue flash, a huge bang and finally the sweet smell of ozone and toasted circuity!
I filled my pants because everything happened before I had managed to remove my finger from the power switch and I have always had a phobia of electronics going boom ever since I plugged in an old double adaptor which rattled when I was about 3 which went with a right boom!

We never agreed to anything except he was happy for us to move in and so were we. I know by law really we have a verbal agreement and 6months before he can legally evict us but I know he is just been honest with us and like I said he is willing to help us in any way he can, plus my mrs has made her mind up and just wants to get out of here now. I wish he would put his mother in a care home so we could stay but I don't want to say it to him just in case he takes it the wrong way.

Oh (((Chiller))) that's awful :(IMHO, your new landlord should have let you know it was on the cards that he would be moving his mother into the property once they had sold her house I rent out 2 houses - one so way below market value as they are a good tenant & I know they can't afford any more. The other one has just become vacant (lol it was also let for over 8 years to a lovely tenant for well below market value - a single mum with pets that is now moving in with her new boyfriend.) & I'm putting in a new kitchen, bathroom, carpets & redecorating. Already got a lovely young couple that can't wait to move in. Your right, I said the same thing. If he knew about the planned move, he should of let us know that he "may" sell the house. I thought you was offering us a house in beautiful Cornwall then lol

He wanted to move in with the mrs and had too many memories of him and his ex at this house because it's where he moved in about 5 years ago with his ex. I would love to move to South Wales, If you can provide me and the mrs with a job which pays good, I'll even throw away my English background and bring up how my Grandad is a Jones

With it been Sunday at 6pm when he broke the news, they will be closed. I will give them a ring in the morning and see what they say although I doubt they will be able to offer us anything other than something nextdoor to druggies or some other low lifes as we live near a rather nasty estate called buttershaw... ever seen Rita, Sue and Bob too? well Rita and Sue lived in the actual buttershaw estate and even though it was filmed in the 80's things haven't changed much.
Found a couple of clips of the movie which actually shows the estate lol
And if you want to watch the full movie (which is actually very good)

Neil I joined ECF first then, like a lot of people here, got "found" by Chrissie and invited here. I haven't been back to ECF since - I found it very US-centric and 'blokey'. I prefer the humour and community here This is exactly what happened to me and the reason I stay here too lol

Personally I wouldn't bother with 4x4 unless your going off road. Just get a large diesel engine Fwd and your laughing. My little mk6 1.6tdci could pull a 6man folding camper for fun, getting something with a bigger engine is just a win win all round.

Funny, earlier today I was actually looking on the Darcia website, I might actually get the Darcia Sandero Stepway. Getting it on their Dimensions Finance, I can't see a problem. If the car breaks, they fix it, if you don't like it at the end of your agreement, you give it back. minimum contract is 13 months and you can get it with 0% up front! www.dacia.co.uk/owner-services/finance/

You get shit on from a great hight.
No really. As some of you may know, I had a lot of trouble with my previous house and landlord who wouldn't do sod all about the worsening damp problems etc but by some bit of good luck, my future brother in law was moving out of a really nice privately rented house which was much bigger than ours and 50 quid a month cheaper. We met the landlord who was really nice and let us move in as soon as we could.
The move was hard but not like you imagine... 1st of all, we phoned the old landlord to give him our 4 weeks notice which he went mental about and demanded that we stayed an extra month and even wouldn't talk to my wife to be because he "didn't speak to women"
After I went upstairs and wafted the tenancy agreement in is face and told him we were doing exactly what we had agreed to, he basically said "do what you want, I want you out of my house" slammed the door and left.
We stayed 1 more week while we got our stuff together and moved that following weekend. Unfortunately, this had not given my brother in law any time to move out because he works away. On the day we moved in, he moved in with his girlfriend and all he took was 4 bags of clothes. It took him another 3 weeks before he had finally moved all of his stuff out.
We have been living in this house now for just over 2 months, happier than we have ever been and feel "at home" We are getting married on the 18th of May and aside from a few things left to pay off, everything is going great... that was until today....
The new landlord came round about an hour ago and told us that he has just sold another house which his mother is currently living in and because she is bed bound, he has always said that he would move her into this house when he sells that one which has been on the market for over 2 years just so she is close to him and so he can look after her (as well as someone who lives with her and home care)
So basically he needs us out of the house within the month!
My F'ing head is a mess. I've laughed, cried, been angry and now I just feel lost. The landlord has said he will do everything he can to help us out but for F sake, this is MY home regardless of who owns it. I don't want to move God, if I had the money I would buy it, it's really a lovely house I don't want to move again!
I'm just so sick it's unbelievable, I truly don't know what the hell to do. We haven't even signed a tenancy agreement yet because both us and the landlord have been busy so we had been putting it off although we didn't think this would ever happen.
The landlord is fine with us, he even said that he would be happy for us to move back if anything came up but it's just due to the circumstances that we have to move out.

I was going to download it but then I thought to myself. Why should I pay for an app which cant do as much as I can do by simply going to the site though a browser. I was just using chrome and mobile version chiller but there was a few things i could not do which i can now do with the app. Only the likes i cant do. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 stuck in the middle of nowhere in my truck! try dolphin browser... much more functional than chrome

I'm sure my mini did clone is just a pile of poop. I also tried this and I get a horrid metal taste. Yes, it works, but I never got it working with a SS mesh wick It also leaks from the bottom o ring seal so I had to patch it up with some plumbers tape. Ha!! Ha!! Your not the only one who had to use some plumbers tape on a Mini Did Clone, I had to do this myself, but I have managed to get rid of that horrible metal taste I was getting as well with a well used SS wick. Don't leave me hanging! please tell me how!

The thing with nrt or pharma drug delivery sysrems is they must supply a consistant dose and the unit must be tamper-proof. So it wont be refillable it will use proprietry sealed carts or tanks. Have you ever used the nic spray which burns the hell out of your mouth? I found that is quite easy to disassemble. What about them white inhalers with them capsules containing a nicotine sponge? If you get a toothpick, you can push the white sponge out... (you might be able to mix them with PG and make your own nic juice... the only problem is (iirc) they are menthol flavoured but hey oh, if the government wants to make ecigs useless and give us NRT from the NHS for free, at least I think I have found a way around our problem of getting nic juice.
