I have two flavours that are insane, vapourzone toffee and butterscotch. Not unplesant but more than two or three drops in 10ml is too much for me.I'd be totally happy if they tasted exactly like toffee or butterscotch but they seem to be just one aspect of those flavours. Oh well if it was too easy it would be boring

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated and greatly needed. Although I've read alot about mixology, its seems im needing to make the mistakes im being cautioned against before they sink in. It makes sense of what has been happening. I've been mixing alot of flavours at about 20% on their own and been dissapointed with the lack of any flavour. I have many caramel/toffee/butterscotch flavour's and 4 different maple ones. None of which I can taste particullaly well. I had assumed I hadn't found the right one but It would seem, from what your saying, that steeping time may be the issue. I have been tasting them about a hour after mixing and again after a few days. Im pretty sure its not the equipment as I've been using them in 3 different set ups. Looks like I should go back and test again the single flavour mixes I've already made which now have been steeping for a couple of weeks. Im also going to dilute the above recipe with 50% 15mg unflavoured and leave it for a couple of weeks and see what happens. If I can cut down on flavourings it will do my wallet alot of good. Mind you the above recipe does taste great to me after 24hours, so I'll keep it in me book as an emergency flavour should I need juice in a hurry. Im going through about 4-6ml of juice a day at the moment so it will be usefull untill steeped supply matches demand. Having spent alot on the diy stuff Im reluctant to spend more on premade juice for a while. Thanks again for the advice and I'll put it into practice. Looks like I'll need me some more bottles

I've finally managed to make a juice I like and can taste. Not sure what is wrong with me. I don't want to appear big headed but I am a very good cook with a fairly good sense of taste. When it comes to diy liquids however all I have produced so far is either tasteless or just so so . That is untill I tried the tobacco extraction and came up with this. Now the amounts used here seem really strong to me on paper when I look at other recipe's but this is what works for me just now. Munky juice 3ml 50mg pg nic 2.5ml Homemade tobacco extraction (burley and canadian flue cured) 1.5ml CCW caramel Toffee 1ml homemade vanilla extraction 1ml VG .5ml CCW licorice 7 drops PA dulce de leche 5 drops F'art anise 3 drops vape wizard I made the vanilla with some old pods from the cupboard, I assume fresh would be stronger. If this recipe is too full on you could cut it with 15mg unflavoured juice. Many thanks to Frogster

The pure leaf extraction I made is very cigar like too. Very tasty and easy to make plus no nastie stuff. Frogster (I think) sells juices made from natural extractions if you don't feel like making your own.

I tried a rollie the other day after 2 months vaping and vomited. My LT ran out while I was away from home today and went straight for a disposable e cig, didn't even think about the baccy
You could make an extraction from your favorite cigar as per Frogster's method. It would probably taste more like your memory of them than the reality

Didn't mean to sound derogatory, sounds like a very logical way to refine something so etherial.

I have a t2 and although i like it alot the leaking was annoying me too. Thought it was just me I don't think the build quality is great on them, i've found on mine that if you only screw them down untill they just make contact they don't leak but they then wobble on the battery. I switched to a vh genesis which has its own reasons to swear at but it doesn't leak and it is consistant and reliable when you get the hang of it. I wish you the best of luck and I understand where your coming from but personally I feel (and smell) so much better for vapeing that I will make it work. The benefits are too big to go back.

Oh and for anyone wanting to use jam jars, don't just dunk them into boiling water. Heat them slowly or they can blow up.

Decided to keep them seperate and mix after. This i 1 1/2 pods in 20mlvg with the same proportion pg/vodka as Frogster's method. Vannilla is pungent stuff, didn't want to overpower the baccy. Really hope this works out. I plan to do licorice and anaseed as well. I've bought alot of flavours from different makers recently but the ones I really want I can't taste. I can taste the natural product though maybe this is my awnser. Fingers crossed. Attachments:

Well tank no.2 is cracking as well, got some O rings on order as per Macca's advice hopefully that will mean tank 3 will survive. Tank 1 was from vapour hut and 2 was from vaping things so it seems to be a problem generally. Could just be my gennie though. Syringe might be the go. Lava tube+vh genesis=Heaven
