1st steep, Burley and Canadian flue cured If one had the patience and left the mix long enough I wonder if it would clear naturally, like wine I would assume it would take months though Attachments:

Hmm.... me too, must have just got a duff one. Knew I should have ordered a few especially at a quid each. Even with a bit of juice to help this one is as my Aussie friend would say, tighter than a nuns nastie

Did you get the tank from the same place as the last one? Looks like I might need another soon.

So I had a tinker and answered my own question. Seems there is enough friction to keep the inner wick in place without too much bother.
Fingers crossed were back into the love phase. Its wicking really well now and flavour/vapour is really good. Im still hit and miss with making coils though and if I get a hotspot I can't seem to get rid of it, just have to start again.

Just wondering how tight a fit your tank is domestic ? I've put a clear tank on mine and it was really really tight. I can see the o rings have been mushed and I think if I take it off again I'll have leaking issues.
Definatly having a love/hate relationship with this. Had it working great last night, flavour was getting better and better. Then I dropped it when refilling and hot spots appeared. I've re coiled it and its going ok now but Im having to give it a bit of time inbetween hits to wick.
Has anyone tried double wicking these? how do you stop the inner wick moving around/ touching the bottom?

Great minds think alike Emailed them today and got a responce within the hour, pretty impressive. Unfortunattly their tanks are a bit thinner on the inside 14.3 vs 17mm. Gonna ask them about the siam mod tubes but I don't want to pester them. Tried the mod in the video today, and it works really well. Had some trouble with the coil. The wick was touching the mouthpiece and moving when I put it on. After a fair bit of fiddling its really tanking now, Holy headrush batman!

I use a ego passthrough and love it. Started with joytech automatic batteries and had to change/charge throughout the day. It got annoying quickly. Now I just have one 1000mha ego passthrough. I think its a great option for people on a buget, I didn't have to buy a seperate charger and one battery works great. I have a usb car charger for my phone, one in the house and im usually plugged in when im at the computer. Im never away from a power point long enough to run the battery down. No problems in over a month of useing it. And it has the higher voltage setting if you want it. I even have a fold up solar panel and 12v gell battery for survival mode

Just got one of these this morning. Seemed to work ok out of the box but couldn't handle the chain vaping im prone to.
I've modded it a little bit, u shaped ss wick and I pluged the airhole in the base with a bit of the juice cup from a kanger t2. I then put a new air hole in the tube. Its working pretty good now.
I might drill the wick holes a bit bigger, but there really close to the central post and Im a bit worried about causing a leak there. Filling is a bit fiddly with the ss u wick. I might drill a small filling hole and plug it with some thing. But im gonna see how it works as single wick before I do any permanent stuff.
All in all Im pretty happy with it so far and its a nice thing to tinker with. Wouldn't mind finding a pyrex tube for it. Anyone know if the ones at alba would Fit?

I buy nail polish remover fom wilkos and make up wipes, I get funny looks But its great stuff for all sorts. Mostly cleaning but thinning epoxy for repairs/finishes. Not so worried about how I look these days... im odd.. I accept that now looking for a recipe to compaire to the incomparable grizzy krazy karamel any maple recipies would be good too, Cheers

Had a look at the specs sheet, and I think it would work to seal. But its a silicon and I don't think It would have the strength. God, im a fussy bugger Think im still gonna go for the epoxy. Think it would be safe enough in this situation and I put parrafin in my mouth for a living so I figure that will probably kill me first.
