Tobacco concentrate

It looks fine and I left it, capped, in a bottle in the dark.

But on tasting (steeped only 4 days or so though) it has a "green" taste to it and with that slight sweaty sock tang about it.

Does it just need more steeping? And would MTS Wizard help? Maybe leave cap off?

I left mine a week/10 days before trying it Ali, just on a shelf in the kitchen and it was lovely, although maybe I just like the sweaty sock taste.

I'd leave it a little longer and see what you think then . . . .

I tried mine quite quickly, it tastes the same then as now, not sure if it a green sock taste or not but I like it may need to chuck my husbands worn work socks in some VG and give it a try, love the way we all taste something different in things, like the vapefest juice and the bacon at the mini meet, two of us quite liked it and the rest thought it was minging.

I made 5 juices for my first try at mixing and 3 were tobacco flavoured.
Of these, they all had the sweaty socks flavour even on day 7. Up until then I had left the caps on. On day 7 I took the caps off and left them.
By the end of day 9, the Royals and the Golden Leaves were A1 and ready for bottling but the Virginia needed on more day before it was ready.

However I have made up these 3 again, this time as a 50% PG/VG mix and left the caps off.
Both the Royals and the Golden Leaves were ready for bottling after just 2 days.
The Virginia should be ready tomorrow. (4 days).
So, as far as tobacco e-juices are concerned, it looks like "caps off" is the way forward for me.

Funny enough Lobey, I have left the cap off since my post last night (thought to self it's worth a try as something may kinda evaporate and change it) and sniffed today and it already smells better to me - less green socky!

So I agree - caps off for me too.

Googled and came across some other forum threads on this subject and some have described a "wet hay" smell, which explains the "green" part of my experience. No mention of sweaty sock though.......

This Tobacco concentrate is growing on me more and more, started on a bottle of the baccy concentrate, mixed with TPA's Caramel Original/French Vanilla & a dash of Dule de Leche . . . it's gorgeous!

Lovely creamy caramel on the inhale, with a distinct GV tobacco flavour on the exhale, lush!

Shame I didn't write down what I did to achieve it as it took a couple of tweaks.

And, I've had an SOS from my friend, who has also vaped the 5ml bottle of plain concentrate I left them, so I've to pop round with another bottle later.

Glad you like it Perps..... What % Extracted Tobacco Concentrate did you end up with in your mixes, I am running at about 20% - 22%, but this next batch I have on the go (1 ltr of the stuff) is looking to come out stronger so may need to cut down a bit.

Maybe I should do a straight "Tobacco Extract Flavour" on its own, to sell ???

I'd say go for it as well Frog . . . the mixes I'm doing with it, are almost a neat dilution with the 54mg nic base & flavouring.

But my lack of taste is appalling, my friends I'm doing at about 30% as they also like an intense flavour . . . so much so that they vaped the pure concentrate by itself.

Well, things are improving leaps and bounds with "cap off" steeping. Just tried again and only a very slight tinge of green sock and a lovely tobacco taste on exhale. Enjoyin this now - the other day, it was "Dear God..what IS that?"

Definitely getting there.

Bought some Burley leaf as it is suppose to be more taste I steeped it the last two days using Frogsters method the taste neat through a dripper is very tobacco strong rather like old holbourn .Will try a blend later

I know a few people who would want some of that. I have thought about buying some and trying Frogsters method myself. But felt myself getting a bit curious in a "I wonder what it is like to smoke?" which is a bit of a worry !

If you do buy from another site ever to make a mix and sell, Havana is the one I want to try. I found it somewhere but have lost it now.
