I seem doomed with receiving packages from the Royal Mail. If I had £1 for every darn red card left, I'd be a rich man. Anyway... I was in the local sorting office (central posting/collecting place) which is a total faff to get to (45 minutes in the rush hour) and they gave me a form called "Nominate a neighbour".. All well and good. I have filled it in but now what do I do with it? Does it say? - No. Does it suggest what to do with it other than wipe my backside with it on the website? - No. Muppetry of highest order. I mean - how hard can it be to write "return to your local PO or sorting office or send to freepost ABC123" Amateurs. You provide a useful service and then fail to actually tell people how to complete the sign up. 21st century woes. I haz them. Anyone know...or shall I take a wild guess and post this card to Santa? Maybe some fairies can pick it up from my door and pass it to some Jedi organisation that uses the force to deliver Fasttech packages.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-45212444Can you imagine if they bought back 24mg or even 72mg for mixers. In the report they call for: greater freedom for industry to advertise e-cigarettes relaxing of regulations and tax duties on e-cigarettes to reflect their relative health benefits an annual review of the health effects of e-cigarettes, as well as heat-not-burn products a debate on vaping in public spaces, such as on public transport and in offices e-cigarettes licensed as medical devices a rethink on limits on refill strengths and tank sizesan end to the ban on snus - an oral tobacco product which is illegal in the UK under EU rules

It's VAT that Customs demands for imports from outside the EU (over £15, including postage and insurance) - duty is generally only charged where the order is valued at over £135. Source: UK Govt " Tax and customs for goods sent from abroad" I get it now... it's VAT.. thanks. Either way, I'm getting my money back for the VAT bit unless they're gonna see me in court for importing tobacco products.

I'm just going through Wolverhampton. Looking delightful as ever, especially with cloudy skies. Lol. Y'am pleased for you. All clear here in Shrewsbury! No cloud, just my RBAs. Dave

I got taken to Telford! Can't advise on gates. It's a gentle 24.5 degrees with light breeze and no killer sun. Great vaping weather. I'll text my dream girl (Carol Kirkwood) to see if there's any spits and spots. I am getting a few it's true. D UPDATE Am home now... My washing is coming in off the line very soon if it gets darker! I am SURE it's going to rain very soon. It's 1,600 meters as the crow flies to the AAEC camping zone. I wish I could fly....

The showground is totally empty. Completely tumbleweed zone. I'll pop back at maybe 12.00 to see if anyone knows the official gate opening time for campers.

I think escaping duty for a few pennies or pounds pales in to absolute insignificance compared to the multi-millions corporations avoiding tax Maybe it's just another way of bashing vapers? "Look, not only do they not contribute huge taxes any more by not buying cigarettes (and hurting tobacco company profits) but they also have a massive importing scam from the Far East" - Absolutely ridiculous.... 1. You are not wrong 2. Although I expect to turn a profit on my refunds there is also the possibility HM Customs might want to whip my backside and threaten me with some red-tape about illegal importing of coils which as we all know are "tobacco" products in the 21st Century. Really, it wouldn't surprise me they refuse to refund me my 3 quid and send me a court summons because of the nature of my purchase. I feel 90% sure they'll wiggle out saying tobacco products don't have the 15 pounds lower limit. They might even double the duty because they can.
