I know what it's like, but I think it's best to try and shrug and pay up. Haven't we all escaped duty on packages whern we should have been charged? The government is in deficit, what we don't pay, our kids will have to. Duty is fine if we all decided your plan is the way forward. Excessive Royal Mail charges is a different ball game. I will end up in profit following this debacle. Fasttech lose out, UK customs lose out. Only the Royal Mail wins and gives their share holders cheap thrills ripping folk off, some of whom have shopped in China through neccessity.

If we get there early for camping, is there a carpark to wait in? If they did keep the gates shut until a certain time, you can just drive down the road and park up in/by an unused gate or on the road, I would guess. Somewhere further down the road I seem to remember a one-way road (which would make a huge circular detour).... just watch out for that just in case I didn't dream it. You could turn around, head back towards town and just park in empty residential parking. I don't think they have specific permits... very few places do. Or set your Sat Nav for Tesco, Lidl or Aldi (Harlescott) and kill some time.

All china spending curbed, I just got stung 3 time on the trot Can someone inform me when it's all over please This is not coincidence. Whoever at Fasttech making the decision to 1) use HKD and 2) totally mess up the conversion.... needs to stop it right now. If we pay in USD$ then the value should be USD$. The value should never ever be more than you have paid... surely that's asking for trouble.

Is it worth entering the lion's den and starting a thread on Fasttech's customer forums about this issue? If nothing else it might make them more aware of the problems using HKD's is causing in the UK . . . . unnecessarily so! Yes, and yes.

Yup... well 50mg might do this to you. Personally I think it's b**** but you can see where some lawyers are coming from. If vaping 3mg or 6mg is almost non-addictive because the strength is so low and vaping 50mg is definitely addictive because, well... it's 50mg.... then maybe they will win. However, I can't see it finishing Juul.... (Although that would make me laugh a teeny weeny bit...)

Sort of rant ALERT
"It's more like a cigarette than you think"
Yup... maybe.
I absolutely DETEST Juul and this whole non-refillable pod market.
It is basically E-Lites all over again, chaining people financially to some product that is way, way, way more expensive than it needs to be.
3 comments;
1) if it gets people off smokes - fair play. 2) if it keeps people tied to Juul in the same way they were tied to Benson and Hedges so they couldn't feed their children properly or pay their heating bill - that is NOT acceptable. 3) if it sends people to other vape products (which it is in the US - MASSIVELY) then it's a win / win.
I'd prefer a win / lose with Juul losing but hey.... a few more billionaires in the world who avoid tax and don't give a penny to the countries they live in by using overpaid accountants - well that's just the way it it.
The 'tax man' would happily tax a trades-person to death, maybe a man who smokes and feeds 4 kids.... if they decide he's underpaid, he gets a nasty bill.
If millionaires do it.... the are given TV shows and made Presidents.
That is the truth of the world. Money wins. People lose. Whole countries lose. Hell, we could probably employ 1,000 more nurses and re-open a few village hospitals if Amazon and Costa paid the proper tax.
We could probably solve homelessness, poverty and education in the UK if they ALL paid the proper tax.

I ignore it completely, if it smell and tastes good it gets steamed. It's very rare indeed for a juice to go off. One sniff is all you need... I promise you. Vape on. Take care with extra dark liquids (dark tobacco and custards particularly) - they are the most likely to go 'rank' on you.

5gb for £15. That is incredible. 5gb would be £40 on my regular phone with an add-on. I might get exactly that deal for my trip in October. I was surprised myself. 5gb will be more than enough for 2 weeks away on holiday and at £15 it's cheap enough. The last time i went i was stung for over £100! I am impressed stu1873 - good work mate. If I get 5gb in August I can probably even watch youtube in the evenings after the pub.

In the Ukraine I got a PAYG SIM with 20 GB for just under £2 last month. Nice! Last time I went on my pilgrimage to Fasttech head office, EE wanted £1.60 a minute to phone the UK. So, I bought a China mobile sim card for about £5. Call cost to the UK? 4p a minute. I phoned almost everyone important in my phone book from China and surfed the internet with speeds of <80mbps. I never even used up £5 in the 6-day trip. Amazing what you can achieve if you don't mind some leg work.

I am away to Florida soon so i got a free PAYG sim from 3 which i intent to put £15 on it before i leave. For £15 it gives 3000mins, 3000txts (to any UK mobile number even if they are in the country you are in like the USA and not the UK) and 5gb of data to use at no extra charge. 5gb for £15. That is incredible. 5gb would be £40 on my regular phone with an add-on. I might get exactly that deal for my trip in October.
