DV has Christmas Pudding as part of their Christmas Collection ready-made selection pack, along with Mince Pie, Choc Orange, Mulled Wine and Cranberry. Unfortunately none of them seem to be available either as larger bottles of ready-made or as flavouring only. Shame

My first mod, a simple 3.7 volt job. With huge thanks to Mark at Warlords who supplied all the bits apart from tin and battery and even threw in a free pre-soldered connector to help me see how to solder that correctly. Along with other freebies and a lot of help through Warlords chat service. I highly recommend Warlords, Mark is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and a top chap all round.

The wiring bit was easy, although I think I need a better soldering iron. The battery is a very tight ft, I was expecting the tin to be slightly bigger so I had more room for maneuver, but I think I made a fair fist of it. Lots and lots of insulating tape and hot glue to keep everything in place and prevent shorts. The difficult bit was drilling the holes - next time I'll get hubby to take the tin to work and use their drill press. Also next time I'll be using a bigger tin or a smaller battery - I might redo this one to take a smaller battery as well. I'd really rather stick a proper plastic battery holder in there, instead of faffing about with so much tape which may wear through in time.

This one isn't brilliant, I neglected to protect the tin by wrapping it with tape before starting work on it so there's some scratches and worn-off paint on the edges of the back. The lid is now a very tight fit due to some buckling where I drilled the hole for the connector. And there's a small hole close to the connector, caused by me not being careful enough when tapping the pilot hole. But it works, and hey, it's Darth Vaper! This one's for hubby, the Star Wars geek, for Christmas. I also have Storm Trooper and R2D2 tins to mod, all the tins came with free mints so that's a bonus And I have plans for a bright pink torch mod, and a pipe on its way from Ukraine also to be modded. Watch this space...

I do indeed. Mixed it at 3% with 3% Almond and 16% Chocolate (all CCW) and got something that reminded me of Turkish Delight. Quite a floral note to it. Of course, I'm not sure whether that floral note is from the Christmas Cake or the Almond as I haven't tried either on their own yet.

As I rather like a bit of Christmas Pudding to go with my brandy butter (my mum's brandy butter is divine), I'd like to come up with a suitable vape as well. I'm thinking brandy, cream, a teeny bit of cherry perhaps, some nutty and spicy (nutmeg, ginger, clove, cinnamon, teeny amounts) flavours but fairly heavy on the pudding/sultana/raisin flavours. With that many flavours though it'll need steeping for a month before it's vapable, so I'd better get cracking. Anyone know where we can get sultana/raisin flavouring?

I've mixed up a few recipes, the most successful of which was Skwoddy's Melon Peach & Blackcurrant Kiss, absolutely gorgeous right from the off and even better a couple of days later. Bananas & Cream smelled totally of bananas to begin with, 24 hours later it had developed a cheesy note. It still smells cheesy, but vapes fine and very moreish. Coconut Ginger Tofee I find a little bit heavy on the ginger, so I'll tweak that next time, but the coconut adds a creamy feel to it that's very nice. Giles's Rhubarb Crumble is also slightly heavy on the ginger for me, so again I'll tweak that next time. What's really odd about this one as well is it tastes lovely in a mini Vivi Nova for about 2 puffs, really rhubarby, then goes a bit nasty. Not sure why that is, maybe it's just my Nova. Chocolate Covered Strawberrys, Chocolate Mints and Coconut Caramel & Hazelnut Honey all need more steeping time.

I also tried my own mix of Chocolate, Almond and Christmas Cake to try to get chocolate covered marzipan, but it tastes more like Turkish Delight! I'll put some Rose flavouring on my next CCW order and try to get it properly turkish and delightful.

I've ordered the Stevia as well, hope I don't have to wait too long for it as there's tons of recipes I really want to try, but am out of Cotton Candy liquid now. Also on order is TPA Dulche de Leche plus rewiring/rewicking supplies, plus I've got tins for modding turning up tomorrow soI'm going to be a busy bunny!
