Didn't get it. Are you meant to squint at it with your head at 90 degrees standing on a chair?

The Aerotank Mini on my istick has been fine up to now, thankfully. It's only used at work though, so doesn't get that much hammer. The only downer is being so small and a side filler, it's easy to end up with juice running down the centre and out, but that's PEBKAC.

Just spotted this @spikeyfridge. CTRL-D is your friend. Ditches the Win8 default (i.e. crap) display and drops in a normal type desktop.
Also, if you haven't discovered already, if you want to run a program and know its name but can't immediately find it, go to the wanky panel display and start typing the program name. Available programs will be displayed on the right.
Ever tried saving a file from Excel or similar in Windows 8? File. "Share" (what?). Save. It brings up a list of all the locations you had loaded or saved from recently. Where's the easy peasy 'Save to Location' applet? Oh, you have to click on the yellow icon at the bottom to get to it. After umpteen more clicks you can actually save it. Great productivity enhancement there.
And charms can f* right off.

One of the good things about Windows 8 (stop laughing at the back) is that the taskbar is present on all extended monitors. Win 7 doesn't do it. However there's an app for that! It pops a taskbar onto the secondary monitor including shortcuts to the programs that are on display there. It's pretty cool. Free, too. Here.

Vape purchase free week (shoot me now, I'm slacking). This week hasn't been a funds-free one at all though, had to splash out on a new shower attachment (woo 20 quid), a new window (ouch 125 quid, but it was a bargain, double glazed unit supplied and fitted), several bits of plastic to stop my bloody back from reminding me it exists 24/7 (about 100 quid), oh and some food. Back to boosting the economy next week!

I had a change midweek from my usual GTV of dna40 + subtank, swapped the subtank out for my lovely old Taifun GT that has been my standby for donkeys (pre-dna40). As you know the Taifun's a metal tank RBA. Tooted it for a rather long time, then thought 'this isn't as good as I remember! Damn I've been spoiled by Subtanks' and put it aside for the Kanger. A little later, my 1 brain cell kicked in and on opening the Taifun, it was empty, drier than a Gobi desert. What a thicko.

Good lord, look at those plumes from his nozzies! Like the U bend too, it probably cools the vapour before inhalation. Some vapers use a long tube to do that, maybe the Victorians have just given a mod designer a not-so-new idea?

The old woman's permanently affixed to the dashboard, I just stick whatever device I'm using in her teeth then hit the throttle. Best clamp in the world. Had me worried for sec there. Skim reading posts it looked like you had your old chap permanently affixed to the dashboard. "Relic of a particularly big row with the missus?"

After seeing the incredible melting insulator (tm) and watching Marco replacing the Subtank RBA soggy chips insulation with a PEEK one supplied by his vendor, I put in a request to the supplier of mine, VapeClub. This reply came through early this morning :
"Hello Dave,
Kanger have realised that some of the early batches have insulators that were unfortunately melting due to some more caustic e liquids. They have subsequently changed the material being used to cope with those e liquids, and are sending out replacements for anyone who received the initial batch. These are currently on their way to us from China and we will be able to send them out to you as soon as they arrive, which should hopefully be before the end of this week. However if you do not wish to wait for the replacements we are more than happy to give you a full refund for the product if you'd like to return it. Please do let us know how you'd like to proceed with your order.
Kind regards,
Dan M"
Hats off to VapeClub for great service. I'm fine with the OCC so the Subtank's getting plenty of service. It'll be good to have a safe, working RBA as well!

Well done Clivia I used to have a persistent gum bleed above one tooth while smoking, couldn't get rid of it using antibacterial toothpaste. Gone within months of switching to vaping
