You won't get a better forum than this jevans, no question is "newbie" as we were all newbies once and the only problem you may encounter is too much advice all at once

Fast forward a year, guy is stood on a beach, smoking away. A zombie antz brain shouts "Put that outtt! You can't smoke on the beacccch!" Guy looks round at the loon, takes a few steps, carries on toking. "I told you to stopppp! You can't smoke on the beeeeaaaccchh!" Flipping the water with his toes, guy replies, "I'm not on the beach... I'm in the sea."

This is what COP is basing its decisions on ecigs on. Full of lies and misrepresentations (e.g. "ecig use only achieves rates of quitting smoking equivalent to NRT") but with no-one to challenge this travesty at the meeting, expect the worst!
