*holds hand up* I'm another Mark Harmon fan, theres something rather delicious about an older man? (who looks as tasty as him!) But then, I've also got a 'thing' for Gil Grissom actor from early CSI (shame about his bandy legs, but then I dont expect perfection )  . oh! AND Howard Keel ....he was still rather attractive in his 70's  From my own age bracket: I'd also fight anyone to the death for a real life gawk at either Simon Baker (The Mentalist) and/or Yannick Bisson... (Murdock Mysteries)  fine looking men! When I lived in Sydney, I was coming down am escalator in Bondi shopping mall and Simon Baker was coming up alongside me. My eyes glazed over as I was transfixed on his face. I don't even think he noticed my existence  but, at least I got to gaze into those eyes  |

Just read the first page of a thread on potv I'm staying well clear of this subject and I'd be very disappointed if all the commotion bubbled over into this forum Fingers crossed. Although, I was quite surprised no one had mentioned it. |

I was telling mart166 about a shisha lounge being fitted up on Commercial Rd, but I drove past there there on Tuesday and I couldn't see it! Maybe I missed it, or they got shut down before they opened. Because it is a highly ethnic area, I wonder whether shisha lounges would object to vapers with nicotine? Can't see why, but you never know. The Vape Lab is right next to the junction of Shoreditch High Street and Comercial Street. I've used shisha lounges at Turnpike Lane, Edgware Road, and Brick Lane. All were fine with the vape. That's good to hear. Btw.. When I left London to go live in NZ and after that Australia, I couldn't wait to leave. I was so over it. But if I am totally honest, I started to miss it in less than a month! Didn't return for 7yrs. By that point it was physically painful. I used to wake up nearly everyday feeling like I had been beamed up to Mars and my only contact with the real world was watching it on Fox TV! London has a buzz and vibe like nowhere else for me. There is no way I could live centrally anymore as I am getting old and like a quieter life, but being 45 minutes away suits me dandy as I can dip in and out whenever I feel like it. |

Forgot to mention the Vape Lab vape lounge opened on Shoreditch High Street last week too. Things are looking up, at this rate we can change London's nickname from the smoke to the vape. I can't deal with crowds and too much stimulation so VF is out for me (and I wonder how many mods I could destroy LOL) but still.... Happy for those who are waiting last year, there was another member with these issues but they were fine. very well looked after by the rest of the gang and, by all accounts, had a marvellous time. what bugged me were the crowd of 6 foot big burly men (you know who you are!) wouldnt let a small one in at the tables to view products. i solved this by attaching myself to the vendors side hopefully this venue will have more room and be a bit more spread out It shouldn't be so bad this year Sarah. All vendor stalls will be arranged in a kind of circle facing out wards onto paths. |
