Can you just record some swears on the voice recorder and just leave it playing on loop? (Maybe not just swears I suppose) I am a bit of a technophobe being a silver surfer. I've never used the voice recorder. Ideally, I want to record a phrase but only have it repeated once every two minutes with the capability for it to do that for a couple of hours at a time. Maybe I will go check it out. I also want to record whistling tunes. My bird that just died used to sing " if you're happy and you know it clap your hands" he was pitch perfect and even made two hand clapping sounds at the end lol. I would like to try this with the new bird and also the tune "you are my sunshine"

I shall go investigate further. Thanks for finding it. I didn't really think there would be an app explicitly for training birds. I thought I would have to find something more complicated.vthank you again

When I get my new baby cockatiel chick, it will be right back to square one in training it to sing and talk. I was wondering if anyone knows of any software for iPad that will allow me to record phrases and whistling tunes that I can put on a recurring loop to play to the bird when we go out.
With birds, the more they hear something the quicker they will learn it. I've got no idea what sort of thing I'm looking for, hence asking for pointers.

I know I haven't been to a meet for a while, but as opinions have been asked for I shall give mine. All of this boils down to politeness and respect for other people.
Common sense says that if the general public who know little about vaping, go into a pub and see people billowing out large thick clouds of dense "smoke", as they will see it, then problems are inevitable. If the landlord of the pub is kind enough to give us a chance at finding a home to vape, then, we have a responsibility not to risk being barred. I am pretty certain that cloud chasers could confine themselves to standard vaping whilst inside the pub and if they want to cloud chase then go outside to do it.

What makes you think that it is vaping that caused the spike Ron ? Blownupdolly can you help this at all hun ? Hi Ron Has a doctor told your son it is due to vaping? I ask because I have never heard of vaping causing glucose spikes. I have been Type 1 diabetic for 25yrs I inject twice daily. I have not noticed any fluctuations in my blood sugar readings at all. I would suggest a visit to the doc or the diabetic nurse at his surgery. There could be all sorts of reasons for it. I personally doubt vaping is one of them. Hope he gets sorted soon. Nothing worse than high readings. Makes me so lethargic.

You reminded me of an incident at one of my daughters birthday party's many years ago. I couldn't get the top off a bottle of pop. My solution is to wedge it tightly in the door jam and twist. Needless to say, this bottle exploded in my face and, promptly smothered my daughter in coke all over a white embroidered expensive party dress. Lesson learnt!

Don't know why I'm looking at this thread (distance)... just nosey I guess. BUT... where the hell have you been Blownupdolly... just glad you're OK... was beginning to think puffingbilly had buried you under the patio! LOL... Well, truth be known a mixture being unwell for various reasons and also being thoroughly down in the dumps. I'm best left alone when I'm like that, until I crawl out from under my rock. I'm surprised Bill didn't bury under the patio to be honest, but who would keep him on his toes?
