It was great to catch up with you all last night. Wish I could do it more often. It was lovely to meet mart166 and bubbleglass Thank you so much to Julie for my prezzie and card. I think I left the card on the table. Very cross with myself for that!! You must be telepathic as I really need those extra batteries. A big thank you to the lads for helping get me up those stairs. I felt like I really accomplished something! It was just a shame that it kicked off the back pain. I am really sorry I had to go downstairs and missed the later part of the night upstairs. I'm also sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to everyone. Bill and I took a walk/wheelchair ride up the road and went down Carnaby Street. On the way back we bumped into the actor Bill Nighy www.starpulse.com/Actors/Nighy,_Bill/ Thanks as always Alan. I really hope Johnny gets that pub as I don't think I can negotiate that one again. |

Got a little bit of good news. George has a new home with a lovely couple with a little boy who thinks he is getting a lion lol!!
She can't take any of the others but is going to put a card in her village shop window. They are also born again Christians who go to meets and things and they are going to ask people there if they can help.
Soooo, one down two to go!!

Des ... I have 2 sets of springs as I use mine with magnets instead ... ( the switch has 2 springs .. One big one small ). If you pm me your address you can have one ... You will need to find something to take the place of that pin.. A thick bit of wire will do the trick or a thin nail cut down , thank you so much for your kind offer but another member has beaten you to it. People on here are SO GENEROUS!  Works both ways Des. I remember you sending me some juice a long time ago. Forget what it was now. |

Have a fantastic birthday Blownupdolly.  I hope you are trying out the pub near where you are going to be living  Sadly not yet Zelda. We have too much to do with the moving home stuff, and we are going into London for the LSE vape meet tomorrow night. I have pretty much cancelled my birthday. I even got my prezzie from Mr D two months early. However, I just had daughter and grand kids turn up with flowers and cake. That'll do me. |

Thanks peeps. I had a phone call from my best little friend (granddaughter) the poor wee thing was inconsolable. She had £5 in her money box, but her big sister talked her into buying a big bag of sweets yesterday. As she is only six, it didn't occur to her that she didn't have enough money to buy me a present. Bless her little heart. She was wailing and sobbing. I eventually got her to calm down and told her a little white lie. I told her that grandpa and I were going to give her some money for helping us when we move house, so, if she wanted to get me something she could buy it with that money on condition she gets something for herself too. I think she fell for it. Nanna gets to buy her own birthday prezzie!! Daughter said she was going to get some flowers to give me as well so panic over. I am very lucky to have a little girl like that in my life. |
