i think it nigh on impossible to strip them completly due to some screws being placed under the magnets!!!

but i have taken the top off robby like you i was also going to remove a little metal from the firing bar but it made a bit to difficult because the end of the firing bar does not come up past the light bar ,i dint want to grind it any and fill it with metal dust!!

so in the end i stuck a thin M2 stainless washer on the underside of the allen bolt hole thus lifting the plate slightly

can now nip all the blots nice and snug and have no catchin of the firing bar!!

Has anyone had there cube2 to pieces yet ??
My firing bar catches on the top plate even after loosening the top screws!!

i wish it would put me in Barbados
