The Riva kit comes well recommended. The spinner is compatible with all 510 and ego cartomizers and clearomisers, including the ones that come with the Riva kit. The spinner is VV (variable voltage), which allows you to control the strength of the vape.

As for liquids, you are sensible to be concerned. Unfortunately, I can't give you any useful information on that. I mostly use liquids from Grizwald (sold by VapeEscape), the Alchemist's Cupboard and ChefsVapour, all of whom are relatively small scale UK vendors. I really don't have a clue about the ingredients they use or the conditions under which the juices are made, I just take it on trust that they aren't going to poison me
