Thanks for the replies.
Found the information eventually. The confusion is over terms Ecigs and Batteries. When searching or enquiring direct with airport and airline, the only concern they have about cigs seems to be solely based on stopping people from actually using them in the airport and on planes.
However, the term "batteries" actually covers disposable vapes, therefore they go in hand luggage just like a normal ecig battery. You are allowed up to 20 batteries in your hand luggage.

I don't know the answer, but I would be optimistic and put them in the tray with phone, wallet etc when you gp through security. I don't think there are specific rules, but if they object all they would do is take some of them. I flew to Iceland and back from Stanstead recently with 5x18650s, a laptop that has almost the max battery size a billet box, a satnav, phone, rechargeable headphones and 4x60 ml + 3x30 ml bottles of e-liquid and put it all in the tray for the x-rays with no issues at either end. Although I flew out from Ukraine a day before the covid lock down and they confiscated a tiny pair of folding scissors and ceramic tweezers that were a bit sharp in my re-wicking kit, I was not in any trouble they just took them. Enjoy your trip!!! Thanks for the reply. I think this will be the only way to find out for future trips planned. I'll report what happens when I get back.

Hi all
I have searched but am unable to find much info about travelling with disposables. I want to leave all my gear behind and fly out of Gatwick with enough disposables to last a couple of weeks.
I have read that taking disposables in my hand luggage is not a problem but can't find anything about quantities. I am also unable to find any info on local availability at my destination, so taking enough with me is my preferred option.
I am thinking that 10 should keep me going for the 2 weeks but am nervous about security at the airport. So anyone who has taken disposables away I would be grateful to hear of your experiences.
Thanks

After some tests on various tanks I have settled on the Isub V Vortex and for longer spells with out refilling the Isub Apex. Both tanks have zero leakage and a wide range of coils readily available. They are very easy to fill and swapping out the coil is so easy. I prefer the vortex because I like small tanks. The only downside is that there does not seem to be a replacement tank glass available. So if you break one as I did thats it unless they do come out with a glass replacement in the future. I have now completley stopped making wicks etc and just use these, they are simple and provide great flavour. Good to hear that you've had some leak free success number6 . . . . I'm a huge iSub fan myself. The 0.5ohm heads are an absolute doddle to dry burn and rewick - even a coilaphobe like myself can manage this level of technical doings! Thanks I shall have a look at this and who knows

Just thought an update may be good for anyone else looking for the same.

Anyway hopefully this info will be useful for someone.

Hi
Can anyone recommend a good non-leak sub tank?
I currently use an Advocado 24 with my Neon 70W TC and really get on well with it apart from at any angle but fully vertical it leaks all over the place.
I also have a Kanger mini and a Cleito which whilst a less prone to leaking still do so when in your pocket.
I'm just looking for something I can at least sit down with it in my pocket without leaking all over the place.
Thanks for any advice

Vaping 3mg from 12mg after 3 years plus. Mainly high vg juice for a sub ohm set up.

Just a point to note, that it was in "Current" use and resting in my hand whilst watching a bit of telly. I had to take out the battery to stop it...

Just a quick warning that mine has developed a nasty habit of turning itself on. I won't be using it again just in case and will see if I can get a replacement or a refund.
I do like it very much but have found it drinks juice at an alarming rate along with the battery.
Anyway just thought people should know in case they leave it alone and switched on.

Thanks to the additional replies. I am only traveling out to the Canaries on my next trip but the info on USA is goos as will be out there later in the year. I tend to use the normal 1p ziplock bags and have never had an issue but I fly out of Heathrow or Gatwick. Will check with them anyway just in case.

Thanks for the replies and useful to know. I had not realised it only applied to sales related exports/imports. I do tend to put everying in the ziplocks but have never put batteries and juice in the hold. I can now put all those 10ml bottles aways

Hello all
Apologies if this is in the wrong section.
Just for clarification could someone advise on the state of travelling with an e-cig after May 2016.
1: I assume that all my liquid will have to be in 10ml bottles? 2: I have to buy a 2 ml tank for each of my e-cigs? 3: What is the travel rule for squonkers? I have one of the Kangertech squonkers and I am not sure how that works with getting through airport security. 4: Is it alright to put spare e-cigs in hold luggage as long as they don't have juice or batteries in them?
Many thanks for any help and advice that can be provided.
