Anyone here who reads Christopher Snowdon's blog or who has read Iron Fist, Velvet Glove will understand that lying is the norm for the ban all brigade. Case in point here is that not one news item has been researched and reported on. They just take the press hand out and put it out to the masses. After all, if its on the BBC or in the Papers it must be true, right? That is what people like WHO are banking on to drive momentum and make the un-informed start looking for new lepers among the crowd. If just one so caller reporter actually invested some time in researching and gathering the facts before publishing an article it might actually do some good. But then again they are probably too busy down the pub standing outside in the rain having a fag.... Oh well.

2mm Cable arrived today so set this up for my Temon using a D16 atomiser. Had a lot of trouble with hot spots so did away with the mesh at the top and this seems to work ok. I have some flat Kanthal arriving tomorrow so will wrap that on it and see what happens. So far it's vaping 100% better than with steel mesh so its a winner for me.

Just out of interest what wire is best used. I'm currently using 32g Kanthal A-1 resistance wire (0.2mm) and it seems to work ok, so just wondering

Hi Romelee This looks interesting have you had any success with this? I'm using the d-16 from mmvapors.com and love it. Far better than my initial vision ego

But then it's never been about tobacco or tobacco products. It has always been about the de-normalisation of people who choose a different way to live their lives. True democracy in action.

Just a quick question. I notice the cartomisers are 2.8 - 3.0 ohms. Is there a difference between the resistance used for these and for the clearomisers? Just asking because i'm now using 1.8ohm on my clearomiser set up.

Hi n6 and welcome from me too. Like Karma says, might be worth trying a lower resistance clearo. The other thing is, which mode are you using your battery in? If the LED is lighting up blue you are in regulated mode, which means the battery is putting out a constant voltage of somewhere about 3.5 volts; if you change it to unregulated (turn battery off, hold down button for 5 seconds until the LED lights up orange, turn back on)you will start off with nearly 4.2 volts on a fully charged battery and then it gradually reduces. This should make quite a noticeable difference if you haven't tried this already. Hi Dave. Yes I have tried it in both modes and it seem that when I change from one to the other there is an improvement for a few puffs, but then it settles down to lees than satisfactory for me anyway. Thinking about it, it might just be me after 40 years of smoking Marlboro and Old Holborn.

Hi number 6 i found exactly the same thing a week or two into my vaping experience and went straight for a vamo with a vivi nova head it will be so much better you may even find it gives you too much and you have to cut down the nic content, dont forget the vivi nova heads they are simple at the start once you have played with that setup you can play with the other heads later:) welcome and good luck:) Thanks will look into this one as well..... I can see lots of new toys arriving soon.

Thanks for the advice, but you have now lost me. How do these interact with the vamo? Number6

Agreed! I use these on my modest Riva batteries with juices of various PG/VG ratios and I get loads of great Cumulo Nimbus clouds of billowing vapour with them. We need a cloud smiley Thanks I have ordered a pack to see how this will work. I'm currently using 50/50 juices from Alchemists Cupboard so will look for a differing ration to see how that works also. Mind you I'm not keen on all the flavours I just need a good old tabacco taste tbh.

Hi Number6, I agree with Banky. Get yourself a Vamo for about £50, and enjoy the major increase in flexibility. More vapour, a better battery charge because the bigger batts last a whole lot longer, even the 18350s, and the chance to check your battery life and the ohm rating of your tank/carto/clearo simply by pressing a button. If you like this, then you might want to consider something more expensive, although to my mind I am more than happy with the Vamo, and can't see any reason to spend 4 times as much just because it says Provari! At the end of the day though, the mix of the juice and the ohm rating of your receptacle makes as much difference as being abot to bang the volts/ wattage up a bit. Maybe try a Spinner or Twist if you want to go half way . . . ? Andy Thanks Andyb appreciate the help. The reasoning behind why i looked at the provari was simply maybe price equalled a better vapping product. Funny really that I've gone from simply making a rollie and lighting it up to learning about volts, ohms, vp/pg for liquids! Lol Thanks again for the help. N6
