I will be updating this guide soon, as it is slightly outdated. I am having great results with AWG 28 now so need to illustrate this. I intend to revamp it to include many variations including different wicks, mesh wicks etc as well as many more Kanthal wire thicknesses and a more indepth look at Kanthal Wire, Nicrome and the NR variety too. I think a dedicated blog will be needed for this info though hehe. |

Might be the way I'm connecting the NR to resistance wire. What method are you using? Hardest part for me is putting that plug back in Anyone sorted this yet? I have rebuilt it using AWG34 + NR wire, but it isn't firing. There something missing here. Even tried with only one wick. are you sure you have not got a short, rewicked mine ok, but its very fiddly with the two coils and the long shaft .  |
