Barely 1/2" on the garden none on the roads in Norwich with very light flurries all afternoon. My lad has just arrived in Luton and says it's about the same there.
Signing out, Mr Fish. ;/

They're China based judging by the skype addy - flysmokercn The kits look pretty good value at £19.70 but would need a group buy as the min order is 20.

That`s actually one of the small grey 18350s you get in a Vamo kit and my camera lens lol The contrast of the copper on the brass really does look good though. I'm just glad it WAS cold else who knows what we would have seen in the reflections. My thoughts as well monomach. I still laugh when I think of this www.ebaumsworld.com/pictures/view/275780/

Are the ego-boards a scavenged item or purchaseable anywhere ? 'Re-cycled' out of knackered batteries. You can buy them. One place is here tinyurl.com/col3t3b .

Needed for a project. If anyone has any broken or disused eGo vv batteries(any size) that they want to give away or sell /very/ cheaply then I'm interested. I'll cover any postage. The cheapest I can find new is £8.49+£1.50p&p. This all may end in disaster so it seems a tad wasteful.
Here's hoping, Greg

The SB Hotspring will 'melt' should any overheating occur - effectively acting like a fuse - won't using the eGo board mean that thee have a regulated mod too? Unfortunately a hot spring isn't going to stop my unprotected batteries being sucked dry. Hey... 3.3v is enough for anyone. Seriously though, my other half wants this one for a bit of handbag bling. I've ordered another one and that will get the eGo-C upgrade board, when I get hold of a knackered one. Any offers?

I received mine yesterday. Have fitted an Ego board into it for a little extra protection and to be able to use my unprotected batteries. It fitted a treat into the switch spacer. Now I'm wondering how long it would take to charge an 18650 via USB. how did you manage to get the white plastic out ? Gently pull out the battery connection (it's in a silicone grommet) and unscrew.

I do it with the eVic daily-ish. Takes about 3 hours, give or take That's better than I thought, I'll give it a blast tomorrow.

cheers guys.... so it's read the label before purchase then As Neil says below, they don't tend to put it on the label. Unless it specifically states VG, it is /probably/ from animal or mixed sources. Whilst I'm quite happy using glycerine from both but it could pose an ethical problem for some.

boots m8 in plas coch. its with the medicines on the left of the store as you go in. Bear in mind that there was some talk about the Boots and other 'BP' Glycerines being derived from animal fats. VG on the other hand usually comes from Palm Oil.

Some of the cheap CE4s had the 'tin plate' center post and gave a bad taste very quickly. They often had a one piece silicone 'nipple seal' between the coil housing and the drip tip seal that nipped the wick causing it to run dry. To check, look from the side to see if the silicone cap protrudes over the wick slot or stops just above The better ones had a metal insert in the seal. To check, unscrew the drip tip, and look down the hole. If you see a small metal tube with a hole in it you're on a winner.
Caveat - there are combinations depending on what the manus had in stock.
